Well, a little bit about what drives me to live life to the fullest. I spent 21 and a half years in the Army then took a 7-month break after retiring, before working as a Federal employee. I am enjoying my time after the military. I love spending time with my family and friends. Originally from So Cal. I love to travel, going on road trips, going to the beach, and having a good time. I rescued a 2 yr older Border Terrier that I named Duke. I'm all about sarcasm and humor. I love to watch most sports: (Football - College & NFL, tennis, indoor/outdoor volleyball, UFC, boxing, baseball only at the stadium, and others). I like to watch the Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal, Family Feud, impractical Jokers, Game of Thrones, and movies (just watched the remake of It). I've been too many NFL games, a couple of UFC fights but never been to watch a College Football game live. I love to explore new places and try out new foods and hole-in-the-walls. Looking for someone to hang out with to talk and get to know. If you can handle sarcasm you're okay by me. We can do that, coffee, dinner, movies, or even do something spontaneous and check out a new place. I'm abit of mutt when it comes to interests. I enjoy a lot of the outdoors. The kayak I got at Christmas has already been used a few times year already, hoping for more opportunities. Then there are the state parks around here to go hiking/running in. Given that I'm new to the area, do you have suggestions to check out first? I'll take hiking trails or places to run. There is the inner geek too. I've enjoyed the surge of Comic Book movies. Or following Dr. Who/ Torchwood. And why yes, I do use a proxy for BBC. Do you? The Star Trek reboot has been good, but SW is a different animal. So what am I looking for? A chimera like myself. Most my friends and co-workers are married with kids. If something develops from there, great! But I'm not in a rush at this point. Beyond that, there is no reason not to expand the number of people I know. First Dates I think depend on the common interests. Right now I'd enjoy meeting someone that can run 4-@ about 9 min/mile pace, but that's b/c I'm training for the ING Half. Otherwise, I'd enjoy good Bluegrass/Americana/Rockabilly concert after a small meal. Or a hike/kayak session. I've got a diverse set of interests so it could be anything.

Introduction....hmmm this part sucks so I'll just jump in.? and miss it terribly. in 08 to help my mother out with my sick father. I've decided it was time for me to move from the PNW. I'm an outdoorsmen and enjoy camping,fishing,hunting,etc. pretty much anything outside I'm down to do lol. Rains way to much there. I'm just a good ol country boy. I don't like or do I play games. I'm a one woman kinda guy. I prefer country music but will jam out and shake what my momma gave me if need be lol. I LOVES THE GRILL!!!!!! I love throwing food on the grill and hangout around a good fire. Well, I'm 37 and I work in the health care field as a paramedic, which I have been doing for almost 5 years. Outside of work I am active in an indoor volleyball league as well as playing for fun other nights I have free. I'm not much of a winter person so I am really looking forward to the nicer weather to get here. I really enjoy going for hikes and going to places I haven't been to before...I am a very honest guy and one of those types that really believe telling the truth is much easier than remembering lies so I just stick with the truths. (It is SO much easier this way)I grew up as a bit of a nerd/jock so I am quite versatile and can relate to many people on many subjects. I love a challenging conversation!! I lived out of state for a long time when I was younger. I have been back for a few years and have realized how much I missed it. My family is very important to me, so it is nice to have them close again, and living in the Mid-west, it was pretty tough being away from the water. I am tired of the bar scene, and don't have a big desire to meet a bar stool. I am looking for a mature, motivated professional who values her mind as well as her body and soul and who is at the same place in her life as I am.
