So, I've tried online dating before and here I am again. I'd like to meet someone the old fashioned way ideally, you know friend of a friend, out at some mutual function you both have in common. But really, my friends are spread out now (which means I have lots of places I can visit) and I'm not really interested in going out every weekend to find someone in a bar. What I am interested in is meeting a guy who's secure in himself. I'm independent, happy with my life, not overly political, an animal lover, don't have cable, I'd rather watch comedies than watch the news, I like reading but am having a hard time getting into any new books, I try to always spell correctly, even though my texting conversations would show otherwise and overall I'm awesome. Ha, sorry you're supposed to sell yourself here right? I'd like to meet the person I can have fun with, and build a relationship. Laughter is key, you can't take yourself too seriously. Girls like a guy who can make them laugh, it's the truth. Not looking for a one night stand or random hookup. Contact me if you're interested in anything I wrote, or want to know more. First dates should be casual, imo. Meeting up for coffee, or maybe a lunch. Talking and getting to know each other. I don't get the dinner & a movie first date. I'm not an overly formal person, I'm pretty laid back.

Looking to experience new adventures. I would like to eventually settle down but not into rushing things. I would prefer to date someone in my local area. I'm not into long distance relationships. If you plan on sending me a picture of your penis, please don't waste your time. I'm sure it is a beast, but some things should be left to the imagination. I believe everyone can have their cake and eat it too but if your intentions are just to lick the icing, you're in for a disappointment. I'm not the bar type. I'm more of the BBQ with friends kind of girl. I love UFC, cabin trips, and the beach. I'm a dog lover. Not so much on cats (allergic reactions). Want to know more, just ask. I call this the drive by. I don't think we should go on a date, I think it should be a quick meet in a public place. A ***minute speed date. That way if you aren't interested, you don't have to sit through a awkward dinner ect. And if there are some kind of sparks then it only makes the next meet more exciting.

Well, I like a litle bit of everything! I like peaceful times at home, cooking dinner together or watching a movie cuddled up on the couch, but love to go out or just spend time with friends and family. I tend to be organized and practical, but would drop everthing for a fun adventure. I am understanding, caring and very supportive. Family and friends are a very important part of my life, especially my 12 year old daughter. I enjoy listening to all types of music from top 40 to early 90s rock, and even country - although I can't two step to save my life...believe me, I've tried!- my friends and family and I have a few movie lines we like to slip into everyday conversation. I can even occasionally sit through 'guy' movies, well, maybe not science fiction or horror - and I won't even talk too much! Travelling is one of my favorite things to do, even though I haven't been to many places I would love to see more of the world!I am looking for the all around nice guy - someone to laugh with, have random conversations about anything. Someone to share the day-to-day life things with. A guy with an optomistic outlook and thoughtful romantic tendancies - opening the door, texts just to say good morning or good night or that he is thinking of me. I am looking for a relationship where we are comfortable just being ourselves. I think affection is really important - holding hands, hugs, cuddling. Chemistry is essential in a relationship and I think that it can develop through friendship, shared interests, mutual respect, and a great smile. While I ultimately would love to find someone that I just 'click' with long term, I think that starting out as friends and getting to know each other is a great way to begin. Probably start with a coffee or a drink (cliche, I know) just to break the ice. Depending on how that goes, move on to dinner or a walk...maybe even all in the same day :)
