Update- I have been off and on dating sites, depending on the level of fake people, bullshitters and other forms people may take and my level of patience for putting up with said crap lol I'm not one to usually just jump in feet first, because I tend to be a little wary of people in general, and I like to take my time getting to know someone. Doesn't take long for the real person to surface while going out on dates.I'm a great listener, I can talk the hind leg off of a mule (so my grandmother, my favorite person in the world, used to tell me), have the laugh of a little girl, very engaging and charming (so I'm told???) lol I'm very curious and always have to know whats going on. no matter what. I'm brutally honest and expect the same. It doesn't matter if you hurt my feelings or say something on the fly, because then at least I will know where I stand with you. If you ask me a question, you're gonna get the answer, and usually with the least amount of tact. I am loyal and my family and friends know I will go to the ends of the earth for them. It blows me away the crap that people will feed you and try to get you to believe. What happened to good old fashioned honesty??? Who cares if they don't like the answer? Get to know someone and find out what makes them the way they are. There's always a reason, and usually it is easier to understand someone once you've gotten to know them. But if you don't put your real self out there and are honest, you'll never get there.I don't believe there's a perfect person out there. Just the person with whom you can love and tolerate more than you dislike whatever traits they have that irritate you. They have to be right for you. Relationships aren't easy and I won't settle. Unless you're just perusing on this site to have a booty call, the ultimate goal of online dating, or dating in general, is to find someone to settle down with. Marriage being the end goal is another matter.I love my boys. They are my life, and they come first. No matter what. I keep my personal and dating life separate from them. Unless I'm serious about the person I'm dating, you will never meet my kids. They don't need to be on an emotional roller coaster ride. Being kids and teenagers and parents that are divorced is hard enough on them. I have a very open and honest relationship with them. They are teenagers and I'm privileged that they still want to hang out with me:-)I'm on this side of two years of a hiking accident/traumatic brain injury that has left me with short term memory loss. Nothing like reliving the movie "50 first dates" every day lol I had to learn to add and read again. I am doing so much better and can actually add without a calculator or writing it down lol So if I ask you to repeat something, know that it's not intentional, and unless I see it, I won't remember it, i.e. pictures, etc.If you have any questions, just ask. I dont want to date someone that looks and acts like they have a potato chip up their butt and cant get it out.3. Yes, this also means you have to have an actual "recent" picture of yourself on here. What you may have looked like 5, 10, or 20 years ago doesnt mean a thing. This is about here and now darlin.4. I am not here to date your dog or horse. I understand you may love them but I am sure there is a doggy dating website somewhere if you are trying to set them up and not yourself. I have 2 dogs myself. But this is about me not them ;)5.
