As I really can't be bothered with the shallow, ego boosting games. I think any woman that has my attention........deserves my undivided attention! My bad points are, I can be cheeky & sarcastic (I can give &; has no fear in saying it how it is! Someone who has passions,Someone who has the courage to confront problems & not let them fester.An ability to talk out problems. Well Hello... As you may have gathered from the headline, I'm more likely to use self-deprecating humour than make comparisons of myself with sliced bread. Like most of the people on here, selling yourself is not one of my skills. But I'll have a go.I'd like to think (others may disagree!) that I'm intelligent, honest, reliable, reasonably well travelled and articulate. I work hard and hold down a good job. I have a well honed and quick sense of humour, which has on the odd occasion landed me in trouble, although very rarely I hasten to add. No death threats received yet, anyway! Generally I'm sociable, polite and good fun to be around. Outside of work, there's plenty of things I love to do, from spending time with my kids, mountain biking through the forest, to throwing myself down snowy peaks on 1 plank or 2. I'm looking for someone whom I'm attracted to both physically and mentally. Someone on my wavelength. And there has to be a mutual spark. Hi,I am looking to meet new people and perhaps find that someone special. I would love to meet someone I have so much in common with it's a little bit uncanny.With that in mind I'd better tell you what I'm like:I'm a bit of a magpie when it comes life and learning. If something attracts my interest I dive right in and learn as much as I can about it regardless of whether it is "useful" or not. Some people might say this means I am unfocused and I guess that's true but I've had an interesting life so far.I love seeing things that take my breath away, be they small everyday things or things that make you feel privileged to have witnessed. I love showing people things that they walked past without noticing. For example: speed camera signs have a symbol of an old fashioned bellows camera on them and I doubt that anyone under 30 knows what that is but they know that the sign means camera. If you think that is strange too we might be on the same wavelength.I love comedy. Anyone who can make me cry with laughter is a genius in my book. I could list some favourites but I love them all. Gigs at the Playhouse are where it's at.Love going to live gigs at the moment. At present my music tastes include, Father John Misty, Matthew & Me, Crybaby, Adam Cohen, The Leisure Society, Spring Offensive, Badly Drawn Boy, Freelance Whales, Death Cab for Cutie, Noah and the Whale and I am Kloot. Anyone who knows more than three of these gets extra brownie points.I watch almost no tv and don't own a set. Whilst I am happy to waste time on other things, for some reason I can't understand spending an hour watching a show when there's only five minutes of actual content. Most of all my passion is design and art. I admire good design and aspire to making some contributions myself. Oh, and I've always wanted to build my own house, but who hasn't ;-)... gosh, are you still reading?I don't want to waste anyone's time so if you are passionate about horses, dogs, extreme sports or have a religious belief that is important to you I'm not going to be your cup of tea.That said, however, I am very open to everything else the world has to throw at me.
