The most important thing to me in life is a personal relationship with God through His Exalted Christ/Messiah, Jesus. Islam simply means "surrendering to the will of God," and a Muslim is "one who surrenders." I was raised a "Christian," but used this label as an excuse to live however I wanted. Seven years ago, I accepted "orthodox" Islam, believing Jesus to be only a prophet, who was in no way divine, and who did not die on the cross. Three years ago, my life was forever changed; and now, my Islam is centered on Jesus, the Word/Light of the Hidden God, who took the form of a perfect man; atoned for sins, as the sacrificial lamb; was raised from the dead; and ascended to heaven, where He sits enthroned as God and reigns as King. In Christ, we walk the path of the death of the lower self and resurrection to divinity—which is our original position with the Most High—before Adam fell to this low-vibrational existence. I have been on an incredible spiritual journey to the knowledge of God and self. Seeking truth, evolving, and growing in the Lord is my everything.I will never (by His grace) compromise my walk with God in order to get a woman, no matter how awesome she may be. If you're right for me, you will care about me for me. I will not expect you to accept my view—that's your personal journey, something I respect and understand. I will not force "religion" on you. My goal in life is that, God willing, we will get to know each other, and you will see God IN me; and by extension, this might inspire and touch you in a special way. I believe that you should marry your best friend. So, "friends" is where I'm willing to start, in order to build the best foundation. With that being said, I WILL NOT have sex before marriage; not to knock those who do in any way, but that is very important to me, personally (everyone's journey is different): it's a deal-breaker. I am open-minded, love to learn, and want the most out of life. I have overcome a lot of adversity and want to use the gifts I've been blessed with to make a difference in the lives of others. I am looking for someone to share my passion for life with—someone who knows, respects, and values herself.I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture, and spent nearly a year in Tokyo and Okinawa as an exchange student.; I enjoy reading the Bible, Qur'an, and books on the history of religion and ancient cultures; I am a coffee and Kung-Fu movie connoisseur; and I make spiritual hip-hop ("God-Hop"). I have a group called "Three Kings"; performed at the Emancipation Celebration; and appeared on radio and Internet TV interviews. Individually, and as a group, we have and continue to be featured on WU-TANG Radio's Beatz and Rhymez Show *** Wednesdays at 9pm EST).You can check our first music video out on YouTube: *** Like us on *** also been told I'm funny; my sense of humor has been known to toe the sarcasm line. (I have absolutely no idea what "sarcasm" is, however . . .) A coffee may not seem like much—dare I say cliché—but I think nothing beats genuinely taking the time and making the effort to get to know another person, who just might be that special someone. Real communication is a lost art in today's fast-paced, electronic, and disconnected world. It doesn't "have" to be a coffee house; I'm open to other suggestions.
