Hi! Let's see,I love being outdoors&I even like to fish and crab. No pun intended lol. Camping, biking, tennis, dog walking,beach,snow..ect.I'm not the greatest cook, but you won't starve,I can make a few good meals. If you can cook, that'd be excellent and if you can cook steak on the bbq, even better! I enjoy movies, all music except rap&screamo! Must be kid and dog friendly,as I do have a teen son and a small, fluffy dog.I'm separated at this moment and working on divorce,so I'm not ready for serious stuff, but I'm looking to get to know a good guy,as friends first. Layback,funny,witty,caring&romantic..that's what I look for. I don't like angry, temperamental complainers..I'm the optimist, not looking for a pessimist. I enjoy looking on the bright side and living as stress free as possible. Hate drama,so I streer clear of it,when possible.Boring is not in my vocab. Love to keep busy. My son comes first in everything I do and my family is also very important to me.Love family parties and having quality time. Well, just a little insight about me,hopefully more to come.

I am a very down to Earth kind of girl...not materialistic at all!! I enjoy going out, but can be just as content hanging out watching a movie and having dinner at home because, in my opinion, where you go or what you do is not nearly as important as who you are choosing to spend your time with. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends...it doesn't take much at all to make me happy! While I am not necessarily looking for a serious relationship, I'm not completely opposed to it either if someone comes along that sweeps me off my feet and is my "" I enjoy watching any kind of movies except scary/horror (they make me have nightmares) and can listen to a wide variety of music...just depends on my mood really. If you want to know anything else, just ask... Hmmm....this is a tough one! Anytime you spend time doing something with someone, mutual interests should be a factor. Finding something to do for a first date would definitely need to be given some thought so that both myself and the guy can have a good time and feel more comfortable. So, I am open to suggestions.....

I'm rather shy at first, but get me laughing and we'll have fun. I'm a lot geeky and sometimes a little nerdy. By day, I'm a software support specialist working remotely for a software company in DC. At night, I enjoy the company of good friends while debating the latest comic books, geeky TV series / movies, or just hunkering down around a table for game night. When I'm not hanging with friends, I might be challenging a new computer game or diving deep into a new book.I've recently started exploring the fabulously analog task of Knitting / Crocheting which has been an interesting departure from my usually high tech fueled life. I'd also like to spend more time in nature and have a plan to hit up the local parks for some weekend meanders through the woods which will be nice after spending the week cooped up inside in front of a computer. Maybe you'd like to join me? :)The only absolute criteria I have is that you have to be a NON-SMOKER. I have allergies which go crazy around smokers. Otherwise, I would like to find someone who is okay with me being me. I have a quirky sense of humor which sometimes borders on inappropriate - but I definitely love to laugh. I'm also something of a romantic, so it doesn't hurt if the person is willing to indulge me with romantic gestures every now and then :) They don't have to be expensive or grand gestures either - a little note or just some way to let me know you're thinking of me. Maybe Shakespeare in the Park or a barbecue. Nothing too fancy or over the top. A picnic lunch while enjoying the outdoors and having a good conversation would also be nice.
