I love film, whether high art of selections like Raise the Red Lantern and The Danish Girl, or high quality Hollywood epics like the Bourne Identity and the totally underrated Wall-E. Live performances--music, dance, or theater are essential to my being. What my friends would say about me. I decided to just ask my best friend what she would say and committed to inserting it here, in quotes. Laura is conscientous, hard working, constantly working on self-improvement, but refreshingly silly and at times goofy. Fortunately, she reins in the goofy at all the appropriate times. She leans hard toward arts, food, wine, and nature, but I've dragged her to some political events--seriously left-leaning--and she has admitted to enjoying them or learning from them. She is definitely upping her fashion game, but not the person to bring to the front row at NYFW; she's just not that interested. She is one of the most adventurous people I know and will give anything a go, at least once. Except for eating bugs. She does have her limitations.
