Have really enjoyed my time here and have met some great new friends but still looking to meet someone just for me!I will have to say though between my house updates have enjoyed getting out and enjoying some activities around the area, a baseball game, concert at the Three Caves a real live tractor pull - my first!! Been for a few day hikes and looking forward to the fall and seeing the colors around here.Look forward to hearing from you. Being new to the area couldn't really pin-point anything at this point but love getting out to enjoy what the community has to offer, festivals, local hang-outs and such.

I am looking for Mr Perfect For Me. I am NOT looking for Mr Perfect. We all have flaws- okay admit it- you have some flaws!!! I have many- yes- I am publicly admitting that I have LOTS of flaws. Some I am more than willing to change- some flaws I know about and just don't care;-)My philosophy is if you have a flaw, you should own that flaw. I mean really - why do something half hearted. I have several really obvious flaws...I like to eat. There I said- I am not a salad grazing girl!!! There won't be any dainty "oh I can't possibly eat that" coming from me! Rather-stay out of my way or you may lose a finger;-) That said, I am not some huge fat lady- I like my time at the gym too! I prefer to call myself "fluffy and happy". If you are looking for a stick thin person- keep looking;-)I am ****. I mean it. No joking aside- I am a real ****. I don't see this as a bad thing. I stand up for myself and those around me. If you are looking for a pushover- you are looking in the wrong place. I love the signs that say "you say **** like it is a bad thing". I will not psychotic or anything- I just know my own worth and I am vocal about it. I am the first person my friends and family come to when they are having a problem. I will stand my ground (or their ground) until the right thing is done. I expect the same out of my spouse. I like holiday decorations. Oh who are we kidding - I LOVE holiday decorations. I spend hours- maybe even days putting them out throughout the year. I particularly like Halloween and Christmas. I think you can probably see my house from space at Christmas;-)I have an 8 yr old daughter that is my world. I have ***custody with my ex-husband. When I have her I do NOT hire babysitters. If I can't give her my full attention 50% of the time - then something is wrong. I work full-time, own my house, share time with my daughter and have 2 VERY bad dogs- this all makes for a very busy life. I want someone who can actively share this with me. I am not looking to date someone for years(really??? It just doesn't take years to figure out if it will work), nor am I looking for a once a week good time. It is a deal-breaker for me to have one more child. I won't be talked out of it- really I won't. Well if you are still reading this and want to go out GREAT!!!How about dinner-somewhere quiet where we can actually talk. Or shopping/window shopping- you can learn ALOT about a person this way;-)If the weather is nice -;-)Anything but a noisy bar would be a great time.

After what seems like a lifetime, I am opening my profile back up to see what is out there. A little about me...I am a single mother of three GREAT kids. Yes, this part comes first because my children mean the world to me. Two of the three are grown adults. The youngest lives with his Father. I am not one of those crazy Moms that are always nosing in their children's business but I am actively involved since parenting doesn't end when they turn 18. I am at that stage in my life that I am not really seeking a relationship that involves young children. I apologize if this seems kind of harsh but I think its best to be honest right from the start. I am educated. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and one in Culinary Arts. I retired from teaching over 10 years ago to pursue my dream of becoming a chef. Things I am really really into: Food, wine, music of all types, comedies and horror films, antiques (really into antique dishes, flatware and serving pieces), Mob films, reading, anything cultural/ artistic, candles, foreign films, long walks, water and boating, mountains, a good****ail, bed and breakfasts, and photography. Things I am NOT into: Motorcycles. Do not get me wrong, I can appreciate a beautiful machine and like any other woman I do find a bike sexy. I am not into the weekend riders that are into biker chicks riding on the back of the bike in chaps and a tank top. There is nothing wrong with the occasional rider that enjoys a ride every now and then but also knows that a car is a good idea. I am NOT into the bar scene. Yes...I know, that sounds odd...a chef that is not into the bar scene. I do not enjoy sitting on a stool on the precious time off I have while consuming a beverage that is less then stellar in a setting that isn't cozy. A nice bar after a movie or dinner is fun. But the local corner hangout is not where you will find me.Interesting things about me that might be good to know ahead of time: I do not eat hot dogs (although I do like sausage). I have been to numerous NASCAR events so I am familiar with how it works. I enjoy fishing and being on the water. I talk a lot. Its part of my nature. My job requires me to talk (a LOT) so I have been conditioned to do so. I am a real blonde. I have real blonde moments. My favorite color is red. I love chocolate. Not into coffee unless it has chocolate in it.I blog as a hobby. I am a published cookbook author.I do not own a pair of sneakers (my daughter took the last pair of sketchers I had because I owned them for a year and wore them twice).I like to shoot pool but I am bad at it. I speak sarcasm as a second language. On the outside I can appear to be a little gruff and abrasive. Once I get to know you a little better, I soften up completely. On the inside I am a softie at heart and have been called a "Mother Hen" because I tend to look out for others often.Long term I am really looking for that one guy that really really gets ME. At 42, I am probably not going to change much (just as I expect you would not either). Currently, my job keeps me busy most weekends but I would like to find the guy who is willing to change that with me. For to long my career has really been my first priority but I would like to find someone to share my life with me. The perfect someone would love to see the world, be able to enjoy a great glass of wine with me on the back porch, and be able to talk about anything. If you think you are that guy, do not hesitate to ***
