I absolutely enjoy the experience of life. I have great friends, love a good conversation, and find pleasure in the simple things life has to offer.My favorite leisure activity is camping and all the activities, like hiking and fishing, that go with it. I spend about two weeks of every summer, more if I can, tent camping with my children in various places around the country. This is by far my favorite part of the year.Despite my love for roughing it, I still have a solid appreciation for less rustic activities and more traditional vacations.)I like confident men with a good sense of humor. I don't care how educated you are, only that you can hold an intelligent conversation and pay your own bills. If you call a handyman before you try to fix something yourself, I am probably not interested. Sleeping in a sleeping bag under the stars should sound appealing to you.     I have come to the conclusion, I'm not what most men are looking for.... Being a single mom to a wonderful 9 year old boy and looking out for my father who has dementia, doesn't leave much free time in my life. I believe I'm doing exactly what God wants me to do, and bottom line is that I am a family person-I am looking for a Christian family man. I love going out and having fun at hockey games, fairs, airshows, Dave & Busters...you can have fun doing anything especially if you are with the right company. I love music of all kinds, depending on my mood that day. Some of my faves include Pink, Switchfoot, Skillet, Nickelback, 80's music, whatever plays on Star 94, but not really big on country. I enjoy cooking (maybe it's more eating my cooking), try to live a healthy lifestyle and try to laugh as much as possible. I can be a little nerdy and would like someone who gets my sense of humor-many do not...I can dress up really nice and can be just as comfortable in jeans playing ball in the park.I believe in getting to know someone as a friend first and see where things go from there. I hope one day to find a good man to share a personal and spiritual journey with...One thing that I have to throw in here that sucks and has been a big deal-breaker in the past...I'm allergic to animals (dogs and cats) and can't have them in my home/or be in a home with them.
