About Me

I am a people person. I prefer to listen rather than talk when in large groups. One-on-one, I can carry myself in conversations. I am more of a natural leader but like being a follower when given the chance. I am sarcastic and witty when I am awake. More of a night person than a morning one. I think I am genuine, caring, spontaneous, and responsible. I do put my foot in my mouth on occasion and learn from it. I am perfectly capable to go see a movie on my own or go and dine by myself, however company to share the experience with is much more interesting. I have many acquaintances but a few close friends that get to know the whole ME. My hobbies are helping others in anything, becoming more healthy, being creative/crafting, and coaching youth basketball. I have more but why spill all the good stuff before we meet?Travel is huge on my "things I want to do more of" and I prefer to have some one to travel with. I like to camp and backpack. I like to play poker, drinking games at parties (I'm a little competitive) My whole family is tall. I prefer a tall guy at least 6ft. Better hugs for me that way :)I like helping animal rescue groups, supporting other peoples goals and dreams, and getting to know people. I don't wear to much makeup, I only do things for a living that I like and never feel like it is "work". I have manners and am not what most consider materialistic, stuck up, or full of themselves. Favorite part about Christmas is gift wrapping, making people cookie plates, and shopping for kids I know. I am a skirts, craft beer, sushi kind of gal.I am probably rambling at this point but if you want to know more about me ask I am good with meeting for coffee or a drink first. Then, if the feeling is mutual, a first date would be something fun and active while we can talk more and get to know each other better. If you ask me to meet you for a drink and then suggest dinner and a movie at your/my place, the answer will likely be no.

    Here's a little bit about me: I am a teacher and an artist. I am now back teaching elementary school for the year. I spend a lot of my free time in my art studio painting and drawing.     Ok, here's the basics...I'm a pretty laid back, go with the flow, kind of girl. I have a wide variety of interests and can make friends and fit in just about anywhere. I'm looking for a positive, out-going man to have fun with and who will ultimately become my best friend and love of my life. Honesty, trust, mutual respect and open communication are important to me. A sense of humor is a plus. A walk in the park or drinks somewhere so we can talk and get to know each other. Maybe mini-golf or a ball game.
