Hello there! I came to the area for grad school and fell in love with the university and people (and haven't left since). I really enjoy getting involved within my community (with things like church, doing service, and just taking in things like festivals, dancing, dining, etc). I am pretty out-going, and will try just about anything as long as I'm in good company (i.e. rec league kickball & flag football, MCM 10k, musicals, tubing, skiing, travels, etc. I'm excited I went sailing for the first time this summer and can certainly understand the addiction :)). I also love to laugh (and make others laugh). I think you have to be able to laugh at yourself as well...life's just too short to always be serious-everything in moderation, right?!? I also really value good communication...you never have to wonder what's on my mind-I hope you're willing to engage :) I am a music junky-I have some sort of music playing pretty much wherever I am. I like most genres... I guess I'm mostly a top 40's kind of girl? I love to travel. One of my goals is to visit all the continents (well, maybe not Antarctica :)) and all 50 states. So...next on my list is Australia and stateside I need to make some plans to travel to the west coast a bit more.So...that was a lot about me...what about you? I am looking to meet someone whose faith is important and it's likely that if our values aren't similar we might not make it very far. Also, with the pictures-I am not usually impressed with pics of everyone half naked...leave something up to the imagination and to discover together...pics in which you're smiling will really sell things for me :) I also value someone who is independent-I am looking for a partner in crime, but will not disregard all the other friendships in my life to make that work. Finally, I find myself in a little jam-I find it very attractive when men are active in their children's lives (as I see this as an expectation of any parent), but I have to be honest...I have little dating experience with guys with children...please just know that I'll need some grace with that if that's something we would have to navigate as well.I hope you'll drop me a line! :) I really can be flexible...I would love a good conversation over drinks or coffee or dinner, but I also would love trying something new in a neighboring city or even going for a walk downtown. I think I may be a little old school in this area and like a guy who has something in mind to spark an interest.
