New empty nester looking to fly! I love walking in the mountains and taking photos of wildlife, Bollywood movies, good food, and road trips to quirky or unique locations.I have a Masters degree in English Literature and have worked in education, but have done many jobs in my life, from my previous life as a research tech in a major technology firm to welding as a night job for extra money, to working my way through college selling wigs and hats in a department store. I believe life is full of diverse opportunities for those with open minds and willing spirits.I'm politically left-leaning and religiously uncommitted. I unabashedly will wear pearls with my jeans.I've had some extra space on my wall for another diploma or two, so I'm back in college... again... this time for a fine arts degree. My idea of the perfect first date is one where we have something interesting going on around us... maybe a fair or an event, or, if that's not available, a cafe that has some sort of unique aspect to it... We go on a night there is belly dancing, but we go a little early, so we actually have time to sit and eat dinner and talk before the dancing begins. We introduce ourselves, but we can also talk about the unique food and the dancing if we have lulls in the conversation. or...We go to the farmers market and art show at the Rail Yard. We peruse the booths, talk about the foods we like, and about the art we see. or...
