I know life can give you many surprises some good and some not so good ~ but no matter, I have learned happiness is a choice. Something very simple....dinner and a movie, perhaps going to a sporting event.

I like all genres of music, unless the message is negative. I look for beauty all around me most of the time. I do miss that person I have yet to meet. But have faith he's out there looking for me, looking for him. I'm in good shape. I don't diet and eat what I want but exercise often. I love God and my country. The way it's been and not what I fear it's becoming. I am kind to all people. I try to make people feel happier. If your a cheat please, I ask that you don't contact me. I've lived that life and would prefer to be alone then repeat it. What else? Love my family, like photography a lot. Love any kind of travel. From ghost towns and backpacking to vegas to some exotic beach 5 star thingy. Must admitt I've never had an opportunity to experience the 5 star beach thingy. But I can tell you I'm sure I would make the best of such a situation. Oh and by the way I'm a smart girl with a lot of ditzy moments and I have a silly/crazy/sarcastic sense of humor. When, where, what? It doent matter too much as long as there is opportunity to enjoy each others company and get to know more about each other. I have on rare occasion felt completely at home and comfortable with someone immediately, that would be ideal. But I realize this is rare and am willing to take time getting to know you. If we agree there is potential for a relationship there.

A meetville user I chatted with said about me that if he were judging a book by its cover he would say "ultra conservative evangelical republican/pastors wife" Once we chatted a bit he then said that I was more than meets the eye. I don't like some of the choices meetville provides. I am a nerd, but not a comic book nerd. And I would say I want to find friends, date, and see if it turns into a relationship. I would like to meet someone I have something in common with. Intelligence is important to me, as is good taste and someone who is a gentleman. And by a gentleman I am not talking about opening doors for me. That is nice, but what is more important is a man who can wait until after a first date before he starts talking about sex. I think a good relationship includes sex, but you have to build up to it. And I like kissing and affection, but I don't want that to be a substitute for conversation. I think conversation is so important in getting to know each other.I love to go out to eat. watch movies (either at the theatre or at home while snuggled up on the couch), listen to live music, go for walks in the park. (Can I bring my dog?) I love live theatre, singing karaoke, reading, and watching TV (history shows, biographies, and classic sitcoms). I love to travel (when I have the time and money.) I also love interesting people, good conversation, trivia games, dancing, and oldies music (70s is my favorite). I'm not into sports but it's ok if you are. I can sit on my end of the couch and read while you sit on your end of the couch and watch TV. If you play sports, I will come and watch you play sometimes, just not every game.I've had many people tell me how much I look like my pictures, and many people tell me I look much better than my pictures. I've also been told I'm a great kisser. ;) And, in case you can't tell, I'm a plus-sized woman. Not ginormous, but curvy. A size 18.I can't believe the number of people who won't take the time to acknowledge a message with just a simple "No thanks." If I send you a message, please respond, even if it's just to tell me that you aren't interested. I respond to all my messages. It's just the polite thing to do.The following are not links. You have to copy and paste these urls into your browser to see the photos: *** say more than "hi." This isn't a face-to-face meeting. Say what you like about my profile and what you are looking for. Tell me what you think we have in common. But please be polite. Don't ask me any questions that you wouldn't have the nerve to say to my face. Just because I am bold enough to put myself out there on a singles site doesn't mean I am not a real person with real feelings. I think we should have a first meeting in a public place, somewhere we can sit and talk and get to know each other. Then we can go home, think about the meeting, and decide if we want to go on a date. Then we should go and do something we both enjoy. I like dancing, karaoke, trivia nights. We could even go to a movie, but I prefer something where we can talk and DO something, not just sit and watch. You will win bonus points with me if you are the type of man who likes to plan the date for us both. I love that. It makes me feel so pampered. Also, I don't have a problem with going Dutch. But I love IHOP and Waffle House. :-)
