So I never thought I would actually be trying out this whole online dating thing, but yet here I am. I have a master's degree in forensic psychology and I'm currently working on my doctorate in counseling psychology. Don't let that scare you, I have better things to do than analyze everyone I meet. In my free time (when I'm not studying) I love watching horror movies, hanging out with friends, running, and cooking among other things.If you're an ***hole or you have no personality, you need not apply, I can get that type of interaction at a bar. I'm pretty outgoing and I can typically handle myself in just about any crowd of people. My pet peeves are bad grammar and people who misquote movies. Sure, dinner and a movie are great, but you can't talk (at least you're not supposed to) during a movie. I would rather hit up a coffee shop or some where we can walk and talk and get to know each other. Don't you watch the news? The world is full of psychos.

I'm a simple person who hates drama. I don't need fancy things to be happy. Give me a snickers bar and a ring from a quarter machine and I'm happy. Please don't get to know me like this on here, ex: what's your favorite color, whats your favorite band, etc. I'm not into the whole 7th grade 20 questions boyfriend/girlfriend stuff. If there is a connection it'll flow. Just let it flow man. Internet dating is fricking weird, and to be honest I've yet to have luck with it. It's hard to meet people when you don't go out much, and I am kind of over the bar scene, though I wouldn't mind going to a laid back bar and have a couple drinks later on(I don't drink for the time being, and when I can I'm not a huge drinker). I'm over a lot of phases in my life and ready to start fresh with a cool guy by my side. I want the guy I'm with to be my best friend. I want us to be super comfortable with each other, and I MEAN COMFORTABLE. hahaha. That is all. I want to get to know the other person so a movie on the first date is always awkward. You know its going well if you do happen to see a movie but only end up watching the credits.ha. I'd just like to sit around and talk, and maybe eat icecream or something. Thats always good.
