Hello all - It has been 21 years since my last first date so meeting people by the internet is all kinda new. I am also going back to school for a new career. First dates should be somewhere casual where we can talk and get to know each other. You can learn a lot about someone while watching them eat pizza. I clean up nice but expect me to be wearing my birkenstocks (I'll wear my nice ones, lol)

My last few relationships were well let's say building blocks and a new understanding on how you keep moving forward and always keep a sense of humor about yourself and using a hit man is always a last resort...Kidding ladies relax lol. Now that I'm back home and it is a work in progress but close to being finished I can begin to put my energies back into business and maybe some dating which I'm not all too thrilled about for one reason or another. I think at this point in my life you can never have too many female friends. Personally I'd rather invite a woman to the movies or a concert etc etc than another guy specially at my age. Of course the best possible scenario would be to have one very special female friend where there is mutual trust and chemistry which will make the lovers version that much hotter.. My friends are my family just like my two stepsons will always be my family even 13 years removed and through the thick and thin we love we laugh we stay in touch and we try and to not judge but understand. My next relationship will be all about trust honor humor smelling living loving craving and maybe a few unknown languages and some gazing when the other is looking the other way with a sigh remind myself how lucky of a person I am. At times I may come across impatient and for that I apologize I'm new at being single and not all about playing all the games and back and forth messaging. Hopefully we'll find each other on here and have a great laugh about how it all came together and what a jerk I was a first ( her version ) .. Just give me a great story and you will get so sick and tired of all the versions I tell everyone on how we met. But you also love the fact that I'm the romantic and it's my way of reminding us how lucky we were to meet one another. Let's jusT get the first date out of the way and find out if we even like each other so maybe starbucks ? The 2nd date will definitely make up for the lack of thought for the 1st date..I will tell you this it won't be boring unless one of us is doing all the talking...;)
