I have tried to think of a way to describe myself and what I want, however when I go back and read what I have written I feel shallow or picky, or that maybe I set my standards too high. Although now after I have met some men from online dating. I am going to say what I need to say now so that there is no confusion later… Here it goes. First off I am Candace. I am 27 and single. I would say that we are all however a lot of people on dating sites are not, which I find disgusting. I never know exactly what time I will get off, that all depends on business, and if my boss asks me stay. I hate to say it but I am her ****! Haha, not truly. Although I figure it is better to be at work making money, then at home spending it. I do not have children, I have two goldfish. I love those little guys way too much considering they are fish… If you have children that is fine by me. I prefer it though if meeting them came a while after dating. There is no sense in bringing someone into a child’s life if you aren’t sure they will be around for a bit. It only creates confusion. I don’t have any for my own reasons, I do have many nieces and a few nephews who I love very much. Children our future and we should take very good care of them. I love music. Most of it anyway. I am much more into rock then anything else. My favorite band ever is Tool, and of course A Perfect Circle. I am not the biggest fan of rap. Now there are some songs that I will like, but for the most part I prefer listening to music that is played by *** computers. I have my own apartment, it works out well for me. I am a bit of a neat freak, borderline obsessive… Haha. I believe in being bluntly honest, I think there is enough bullsh*tin the world and I don’t want to contribute to it. If you don’t want to truly know the answer I don’t recommend asking me a question. I would appreciate it if you would show me the same courtesy. I am looking for a white man. Teeth are very important to me, and the first thing I notice about someone. I would like it if you were under the age 33. Responsible. Dependable. Honest. Respectful. I am and it would be nice if you are too. If you are impotent, please quit reading, I know this is forward but I think that sex, making love, ****ing, whatever you want to call it, is an important part of a healthy relationship. If you are emotionally unavailable then please quit reading. I do not want to waste my precious energy or my time, and I am sure you don’t want to waste yours. I moved from NYC, but am riginally from the west coast. My passions are painting, music, dancing, reading, photography, pottery, and traveling. I just recently returned from my summer trip in Eastern Europe. Last year I spent the summer in Southeast Asia. I learned that I love to travel more than anything, after spending a year backpacking abroad through Latin America and Australia after my undergrads.I have a true love for art that started young, but became a huge passion after studying in France and attending art school.I am trying to learn how to play the piano now. I am a big fan of music and live venue bars...and a lot more.I try to read as much as possible, which is why I don't own a tv. Although, not owning a tv or being aware of what exists on cable, really puts me behind with our pop culture. My students always give me a hard time about it.I also enjoy the outdoors...camping, hiking, scuba diving, rock climbing, flying (took a few helicopter flight lessons)...anything goes. I have a tendency to dabble in everything, but am not an expert in anything. I try to go out as much as I can with my close friends and explore what this city has to offer. I really enjoy meeting new people.I do have two dogs (black labs) that take up a lot of my time. I am also completely involved with work and my students, because I LOVE my job. I have an addiction to coffee and chocolate. My favorite qualities in another human being are humility, kindness and playfulness. I enjoy just grabbing a cup of coffee, sitting back and relaxing. I am also up for grabbing a drink sometime.
