Hi. If you have made it to my profile, we probably have something in common.– and a first time user of a dating site. I am looking for someone who is outgoing and has an active lifestyle. You should also be open to new adventures and travels. My children are young adults and out of the area, so as an empty nester, I have lots of opportunities to try new things. Fitness has always been a prominent part of my life - I generally work out at least four times a week, and it would be nice to date someone like minded. I love going to the movies, but other drama is unattractive. I understand that we all carry some baggage from out pasts, but my suitcase is light, and I would prefer no baggage. A great sense of humor is very attractive - so is someone who can laugh at himself and enjoy the moment. I am independent and comfortable in my lifestyle; I would appreciate a date that is also mature, responsible, honest, and above all trustworthy.I have a big crazy family and I love them all. My older sister in fact insisted I try the online world of dating, as I am not one to join the bar scene. My pictures are current, and I respectfully ask that yours are too. I look forward to seeing where this journey takes me. I am not one to *** forth for long......so would like to meet and see if there is any type of connection and maybe a chance for a second date.

Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
I am a court reporter and have owned my own firm for several years. I do work a lot and have deadlines that keep me working around the clock and even weekends sometimes. it is demanding work, but it has its advantages also, allowing me freedoms that I may not get to enjoy otherwise, like working remotely from my office. It is such interesting work and is hardly ever boring in the legal system, especially what I do, so I have great stories...I enjoy (and require) warm weather and outdoor activities, especially anything involving the water. I want to learn to paddleboard really bad, so maybe I can figure that out soon.-em, travelling or just getting out and riding my bike. I was riding motorcycles before it was cool for women to ride, so riding is something that is in my soul. There is a freedom to riding that I've never found anywhere else. My friends are hugely important to me. I have a hectic work schedule, so when I go out and do things, I want to enjoy them to the fullest. On a personal level, I do love to laugh and try to find happiness in the little things. I think so many people take life for granted; I really just want to enjoy it. I enjoy having intellectual, challenging conversations with people, too, but afterwards I just want to laugh about it and lighten the mood. I do like the little things in a relationship, like opening my car door for me, or order for me, hold my hand, the small affectionate things speak volumes to me. I like these things, because I give all that back and way more. I want romantic dinners at home, date night, snuggle on the couch and watch a movie -- or better, football. I, however, want to get out and have fun. I am a people person and need that too, so it is a balance I want. I want my relationship with a man to give me all of that. I am a single mom. I am trying to raise a little man, a responsible, loving, warm-hearted, confident, funny, smart child, and I take that part of my life seriously. My son and I love to hike together, go to the beach, he is into dirt-biking (he's good at it), he's in martial arts, plays football, so we are active and on the go. Someone who is coming into my life should realize that to be with me, comes all of this, and so much more. I'm open for our first date. If we've gotten this far, I actually want to see what you've got...surprise me. I love surprises.

Let's face it...the internet can help expand your opportunities to meet someone but it has its issues as well. It's hard to shop humans like they are a pair of shoes. Well, that probably works for some people...but not me.I'm not looking for Adonis...nor do I think I could actually attract Adonis. I'm looking for someone who likes interesting conversation and new experiences. Superficiality leaves me cold .....no? It might be cliché, but a sense of humor is a big turn on...but not everybody laughs at the same things. The importance of a certain chemistry can't be denied...it is critical for true connection. If you want to have some fun and don't take yourself too seriously...and if you can talk about art, film, good beer, football, and anything other than yourself and how often you work out and how much you own...then perhaps we could get along.Casting my line out there...let's see what it brings in....
