I've worked for Fortune 20 companies, and now I run my own small business in healthcare. I consider myself a civic-minded person, so advocating for others, and volunteering when I can, are essential to my life. Yes, I do help old ladies cross the street. However, I also am quite direct and tend to make enemies of inept customer service people (but I go out of my way to praise/tip those who are good!).I'm a reluctant Columbusite: I left my heart in Europe, and a smile crosses my face every time I visit NYC. I'm still learning the rules of dating: it seems one must feign disinterest and be reluctant to share a connection. I do hope I'm wrong about that. Going to a nice place for dessert and taking a walk would make a nice date.
