I recently bought my own home, and I enjoy working on fixing it up. Slowly, but surely. I'm definitely not afraid of power tools. Lol. I even have a subscription to Family Handyman magazine. Share adventures, share troubles, and share life experiences with. I miss having that one person to call and say "oh my god, you're not going to believe this..." type of stories.
