About Me

I’m really awful at describing myself, so here goes nothing. My name is Katie. I’m 18, and I’ve lived in Georgia my whole life. My personality type is INFP. I was raised by my mom and my grandma, and they’re the reason I am who I am today. I’ve always loved animals, and I basically live in a miniature zoo. I’m an aspiring reptile breeder, and I hope to start my own business within the next few years. I’ve suffered from depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember, but I’m getting better. I hit rock bottom the summer before I became a senior, and I had to finish school online. I graduated last May, and I’m doing better than I have in years. I also have polycystic ovarian syndrome, or PCOS. I won’t get into all of the details here, but it affects the ovaries and the menstrual cycle. I’m currently on medication for all of the above, and I’m working on losing weight. Romantically, I haven’t had much luck. I’ve never been in any serious relationship, mainly due to my own body image and mental issues. I’m finally in a place where I feel like I can give dating a try. I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic, looking for my forever at 18, haha. I really just want someone that will laugh at my stupid jokes, be strong for me when I can’t be strong for myself, and above all, love my animals.     My friends would describe me as very caring, giving, down to earth and sincere and I am definitely a nurturer at heart. I am pretty simple and little things make me happy.
