I love anything outdoors in the summer. Not too much into camping but, I love to get up early on a warm sunny summer morning before anyone else is up and take a walk down by the beach. I am not really a winter/cold weather person although, I will spend time outside in the winter with the right person. I do have children and they are very important to me. Two are adults and out of the house and one still lives with me. I would like a man who believes not only in God but in God's Word. A man who is not afraid to admit when he is wrong and not afraid of a commitment. I am looking for a man who never forgets my birthday but conveniently never remembers my age;) I prefer to be in a long term, monogamous relationship. I am looking for ... a man who knows how to treat a lady, someone who is Secure, someone who is Emotionally Available (has moved on from the last relationship and doesn't compare everything we do to how they or she did it) and Emotionally Mature, hopefully you got all that out in highschool or college! I have a 24 year old son, a daughter who is 22, and 13 year old son. I would like someone who is mature enough to invest in a Long Term Relationship. I have lived in fl all my life,with the exception of a few odd years it took to realise fl is not a southern state. Recently, I decided to try and expand my venue to the north. Tho I love the beach, and really do not see myself anywhere else......I am adventurous, so here I go. I'm open minded, love almost all music, live bands, concerts, theme parks, movies, sports and a hot sports bar. Tiki bars, anything water related, driving . back roads, shopping and most of all shoes. I enjoy my 3 grown children and my grandchildren as well, but do not want babies anymore. I don't know about you but I find this difficult. What do you say to get someone's attention? But not just ANYone's attention. The right one. That special one. You've got a 60 second window to communicate all the great things about you that your friends and family already know from years of experience. Add to that the cheesy phone *** never seem to highlight your 'best side'. I get it.So, I'll break the ice, as it were. I like gardening. Fine wine. Good beer. Cooking. Manners. People who know and appreciate their roots. People who know how to relax and laugh. And those who know when to pause for a solemn moment. I enjoy those who respect old people, love the furry people (read pets), and enjoy the little people (read children). I like to give back to the community whenever I can. I like to go to the farmers market and support/interact with the folks who nourish us. I love the idea of reconnecting with our community via charity work. I cherish the time when neighbors cared about each other and expressed interest in each others well being and place in the community. About me. I've been through a rough three years with my ex husband. I've managed to fight the urge to become a man-hating super diva. Don't get me wrong, I've got lots of diva going on. But hating is just not my style. I'm working towards being the best me I can become. I'm taking an active role in my health. I'm embracing my 'singleness'. I'm embarking on new adventures.
