I read way too much.Now movies..... I will not watch "chick-flicks". They drive me nuts. I do appreciate the occasional love story thrown into a really good plot, as long as it doesn't screw it up. I love to watch adventure, sci-fi, fantasy, action, *classic* I probably have more movie knowledge than 99% of women out there.Whenever I need to relax my mind, I listen to music from the 30's 40's. Yes, old crackly gramophone music. It's extremely calming. When I'm traveling, I listen to soundtracks (like the true nerd I really am). And yes, I listen to a little bit of country. Not much though.Food:I LOVE fruit, but I hate really sweet things like chocolate, cake, syrup on pancakes, any kind of candy.... they all kinda make me sick. I'm a big fan of foreign food and am always up for trying something new. I crave sushi very often, and trust me, if you're taking me to a sushi bar... expect a good bill. I also love to put spice into a lot of the things I eat. Heat every now and then never kills ya ;)Just a friendly FYI, I don't like side-hat-wearers, I WILL ask you to pull up your pants, and I despise when people talk like they never had a proper education. This is America. We all went to school.Please don't message me if you're extremely overweight, looking for a threesome, can't tell the difference between "you're" and "your", afraid of an independent woman, or intolerant of an active lifestyle. Honestly, you will be wasting your time. I'm open for first dates, just as long as they leave room to talk the whole time. Like going to a movie? Bad idea. Going for a walk, out for a beer, or dinner-- perfect. I don't require extravagant things to do.

here's the spark notes version of me...i try to maintain an active and fun social life. i love both baseball (nationals) and hockey (penguins). i love reading, singing, and doing arts and crafts. everything from oldies, opera, and classical, to metal, rap, and pop. my music selection usually depends on my mood. mostly, you may hear more of indie tunes with a good female vocalist coming from my headphones. i majored in psychology and french. i am currently going back to school for my RN. i work at my old high school as the color guard *** the marching band, as well as a substitute teacher. if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them. and expect nothing than the honest truth. i respond to every message i receive - i think it only polite. i would no sooner *** on the street, should you offer a greeting in my direction. the way to my heart is to keep me entertained with intelligent and captivating conversation. my biggest turnoff? poor spelling or grammar. i am really low maintenance. i believe that you don't have to spend much money at all to have a blast. walking around in a park or window shopping in a mall are perfect ways to have one on one time to get to know one another.would love to share stories over a cup of coffee, as i am often seen guzzling some high octane brew. even a low key picnic in a park or meandering the streets of town would be great. i will try anything twice.
