I’m a bit introverted, but very outgoing with the right people, and very attentive toward the person at the center of my life. I strongly believe in monogamy. I think there are so many benefits to consistency and commitment, and none whatsoever to changing partners, after any period of time. Fidelity isn’t difficult at all, and there is so much security in working and sharing with one person for a lifetime, that I can’t even begin to understand why not everyone wants it. I can say that fidelity isn’t difficult, based on my own experience. I chose to marry a woman, because I wanted a traditional family. Even though I’m gay, being busy, building a life together was all we needed for happiness and security. If I hadn’t lost her to cancer several years ago, I would have been happy to live out my life with her. Physical beauty fades, but the beauty of a person’s essence, is permanent. We all have our preferences, regarding physical appearance, but we really don’t see the physical fully, until we know more about what lies underneath. Patience, tolerance, empathy, an open mind, among others, are the things that make a person truly beautiful. I enjoy gardening, woodworking, tropical fish keeping, and spending time in nature, among other things. Although I am serious in relationships, I do find humor in even the most trying of situations. It seems to be an effective weapon. As Mark Twain said: “Against the assault of laughter, nothing can stand”.
