I like to laugh, and am pretty happy generally with how my life is, I have great friends and I spend time with my family, I would just like a partner to share life with.I like to spend time at gallery openings, seeing live music, theatre, and dance, with a broad range of tastes in all. I love alternative rock and jazz and finding dives around the world to see it. I love outdoor concerts in the sun and intimate venues too. I love classical and singer/songwriter stuff. I love classical, especially chamber music, preferring small solos and quartets to large symphonies.I was hit by a car last March while riding my bike, a literal head-on collision with a minivan, so my physical activity is momentarily limited. I walk about 2- Can't wait to be back in top shape so I can enjoy my regular fare of running, cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, swimming...Throwing mid-week dinner parties is a worthy decadence. I cook like crazy, am half Italian and versed in French cooking, but most things I make are based on whole, organic foods made from scratch. I love fine dining and finding amazing hole-in-the-wall restaurants. I hate the word "foodie" and get called it a lot.I have travelled quite a bit and hope to do more. I like travelling in a variety of ways: road trips, backpacking or 5 star it, and pride myself on packing light. I have a passport, undies and a toothbrush in my purse at all times, ready for impromptu getaways.I am looking for someone who can hold a conversation, I like to talk about politics, religion and other topics that polite girls aren't supposed to broach, particularly over a bottle of a good red. On the other hand, I love puns, and being silly. I want someone who is a bit old fashioned, as I can't possibly make all the decisions and first moves. I like someone who has manners but is not pretentious. I don't want to be stood up, lied to or taken advantage of. I value quality over quantity. I have recently come out of a 2+ year relationship, working on re- I have just moved from sunny Kelowna :( I don't know very many people here, trying to get out there and meet new people and have fun...and loving that, lots of fun and aggression to get out :). Going to see if I can find a team to draft me here. I walk everyday, pretty much... I try to bike ride a fair amount. I love swimming in the lake, hanging out on the beach for an afternoon, or sitting in the dark with my feet in the sand looking at the lights on the shore line. I have a few tattoo's, just finishing a ***sleeve. It doesn't mean I'm a bad ass ;) ...well maybe a bit. It just means I like to wear my art. I am girly. I am into and wear fashionable clothing ( you won't catch me dead in a Wal- I'm comfortable all done up in a skirt and heels or in a pair of jeans, and t shirt.I have recently quite smoking and gained a few pounds since, which I am not happy about, Therefore I try to be active and healthy. I eat pretty clean and healthy. I hate cooking, although I can cook. So YES salad and protein smoothies are a meal!I'm not into eating out much (too hard to find decent food) ,watching tv ( a few series about bikers, vampires, zombies and meth dealers lol ) , and not much of a drinker. I just try to keep it in moderation. So if your into frequenting the pub, having pub food and watching sports/t.v from sun up until sun down. I would drive you insane.With that being said... Life is too short not to try and enjoy it. Ultimately I'm looking for a relationship, but if I find a friend or two, that's great as well. Coffee/ drink a walk...see how it goes from there.
