Worked in education for over the past decade, and walked away. Literally. Loved it for years, and then quit loving it too. I miss my students, but other then that I feel free to make choices in my life for the first time in a long time. It is nice to establish a connection over some time online and then meet. By just looking at a picture, and wanting to meet that person, I do not see the difference between that and walking into a club, and being hit on.
