I've been on and off meetville...met some very nice men through this site, just no long term connection yet. I'm not sure what is going to lead to that connection happening there is so much to consider at this stage of life. There are kids, mortgages, exes, personal finances (things we didn't have to think about when we were 20)...it's going to take a pretty fantastic connection to want to work with all of that and make it stick. If you are interested enough to message me, say something about yourself (or even the weather), or ask me a question (like you would if we were meeting in person). - If you choose to message me please refrain from saying I'm cute. I'm not twelve years old nor am I a puppy. (You can also refrain from using terms such as, but not limited to, hot, sexy, pretty, etc.) As a matter of fact, just don't say anything about my appearance. This online forum means we are limited to a photo and some words on a screen. You wouldn't send me a message if you didn't think I met your standard of attractiveness.- While I can completely appreciate you having interests in sports, cars, movies, etc., if you are ONLY interested in these and know nothing, nor care for anything, beyond such interests then we would not be a good match.- If you feel the need to talk about your sexual prowess in your profile, or at all for that matter, we are not a good match.- If you find yourself complaining about all of this "politically correct bullshit"...we would not be a good match.- If you've ever complained that white people/men are becoming the minority whose rights are being *** would not be a good match.Happy Fishing!!One more thing - no pic no response - not interested in chatting with a phantom...lol. I'm a very easy going lady who is, luckily, easily amused. I think my friends would describe me as thoughtful, warm, genuine, insightful, and quick to laugh. I can be somewhat careful or slow in letting others get to know me, but in the meantime I think my laughter stands out since it can be quite gregarious! While I don't see this at all, I have been told by reliable sources that I can be a little quirky and tend to march to the beat of my own drum.I enjoy my work a great deal and feel good about helping others to improve their lives and to heal. Along these lines, I think a lot about how experience shapes us, where we've come from, where we're gong, how we stay the same, how we change. Endlessly fascinating, sobering...insert any adjective...it would fit!During my time off, I love spending quality time with friends. What we do is much less important to me than being able to connect. I can walk for hours on end browsing stores along the way and stopping here or there for a snack or a drink. I've been teaching myself to sew, but haven't made a successful item from scratch yet. Thrift stores are my specialty and love a great find! Sometimes hidden in the rubble I find old yearbooks and enjoy sifting through the photos and messages and getting a glimpse of a someone's past. I love life and I love where my life is right now!! I am an educated, driven, and independent person who is the proud co-owner of a pediatric therapy company. I get up each and every morning excited to make the world a better place by helping some AMAZING children and their families. It warms my heart and puts a smile on my face to help others without the expectation of getting anything tangible in return. The successes that I have with these families are moments that you can't buy in any store and that are worth more than all the money in the world and I wouldn't want it any other way! Some of my favorite things in this world are spending time with my family, hearing a child laugh, the smell of rain, getting up, despite being exhausted, to see a beautiful sunset, witnessing acts of kindness first hand, drinking wine and laughing until my cheeks and stomach hurt with friends and family, hearing one of my clients use their first word, eating sushi and drinking beer while listening to the waves crash at the ocean, drinking a cup of strong coffee while curled up with a good book, having honest conversations that have depth, being able to agree to disagree with those that I love, and completing losing myself and jamming out to one of my favorite songs.I want to find my best friend, someone who makes me laugh, someone who is honest, someone who is a good communicator, someone who is passionate, someone who shares the same core beliefs as me, someone who will love me even in the moments when they may not like me, someone who is close with their family, someone who treats those around them with love and kindness, especially those that can be difficult to love, and someone who knows what they want out of life and aren't afraid to go and get it!
