UPDATED ***I think that people come into our lives for a reason. Maybe there is something that we are lacking that they are able to make us realize. Kind of like angels on earth and to those that I have met, and some not met but talked to only..Thank you! I have learned more at 41 than any other age by being truthful with myself and taking all the tools needed to improve every day and I know that I am only at the beginning of the road. I have always told people and firmly believe that God gives you the tools but he cannot do it for you. I have given this advise in some aspects of life but realize that I can use it myself in others. It feels great!I really do not like talking about myself, had much rather being hearing about you or reading your profile. Alittle about me, I like spending time at the ocean. Love the water and wind, always have to come back with a few shells too. If i cannot get the ocean then the lake or the river will do. I have three children, almost grown now..they are 22, 17 and 15. They are very independent and having fun with their own lives now. I love spending time with them, they are truly my best friends as well as my children. Each unique in their own way. I have a great job, although it can be stressful and some weeks crazy hours. I meet alot of people and have gained many friends in the past 16 years of working there. I do have goals and although I have really in the past put everything into my professional career would now like to catch up on my personal life. Just now realizing the importance of balance. I think if you ask people what makes me unique they will say that its my personality it takes awhile to know and understand me but once you do then you have a friend like no other. That I will be honest in my opinion and what I think but also care about the feelings of the person that I am talking to. I do not like being in uncomfortable situations and try not to make others feel that way around me. 80's music is the best! Update June ***: I am officially divorcedOk, after being on this site now on and off for a while I think it’s time for an update. A little bit of background…. Can’t help but feel that this built a strong foundation for humor and “I got your back”, if you know what I mean. Competing over food : ) and attention at the dinner table (aka jokes) has made me realize at this time in my life humor is a wonderful thing to have and I often use it to get through some of the tougher times. Not to say I don’t have a serious side, as I do, but I do love to laugh and enjoy making others laugh as well.I attended college in NYC for Graphic Design and still do freelance work as a Graphic Artist from home. The great thing about this is that I do get to spend a lot of time with my 10 year old & 13 year old. They come first and if your kids are over 18 and you do not want to date someone with younger children I completely understand.I am thankful for the many areas I have lived in in the US as well as overseas. Living in Guam 2x with 2 Super Typhoons under my belt has given me some life experiences that I would not trade. While living in Guam I had the good fortune to be a buyer for a gift shop which once again the travel and the people that I met on my trips make me realize I am privy to some things that some people will never know nor understand. I love being outside and actually enjoy doing yard work. The beach is and will always be a favorite place to go. Love the arts and enjoy diverse conversation.As stated in my original profile, I do not think this is a perfect science. I do believe that it is a combination of personality, chemistry and enjoying each other’s company. And a we bit of a crapshoot if you will. Timing plays a role as well.
