I enjoy the outdoors and would rather find something to do to be outside. I hated pulling weeds then, but believe doing this as a child gave me the love of gardening now. Doesn't matter where I move to, I always find a small plot of ground to dig up :) Yes, I do make home-made meals, no boxes and most of my freezer is filled with fresh frozen veggies. I also own my own sewing machine and I do use it. Now ask me if my children have the same talents......uhhh no. Times have truly changed. Although my oldest daughter who was just married last year is now starting to plant a small vegetable garden. I guess I have started to rub off after all.... This is where my love of fishing comes from.Having 4 girls, my father taught us what we needed to know to take care of ourselves. All of us can tile a floor, *** new faucet or ceiling fan, change a tire, shingle a new roof, or try and fix something broken before getting new. It has come in handy in my past marriage but would like a little help from time to time. I enjoy riding my bike either on the road for great cardio exercise or leisurely through bike trails or neighborhoods enjoying the scenery and the sounds of nature for a relaxing release of tension. I do like to play golf but have not played in a few years. I have played volleyball competitively since high school and this is the first year I have not been on a team because of moving recently. I did however sub on my daughter's team while visiting this summer and I must say, I kept up and felt great! Guess I'm NOT ready to quit yet!I have always wanted to take couples dancing lessons and would love to find a man that is up for the challenge or one who could teach me enough to get around the dance floor.I love music and my passion is wine tasting and smooth jazz, they compliment each other so well, just what I'm looking for - a great pairing with a man sharing my similar tastes and interests. I am an optimist and will NOT settle for negativity.I am so overwhelmed by people on here who just want a "quickie". I'm not like that. The truth is, I do have hope for real true love someday. Someone who takes my breath away. Surprise me. I LOVE surprises!

I am committed and passionate for what and who I love, never afraid to speak up so I suppose that would make me feisty as well..I cry at sappy movies,I talk with my hands, love making S`mores over my firepit, fishing ( I won`t bait the hook though) or just sitting on the Jetties, Ice Cream, being quiet, coffee in the morning, Hydrangeas, cooking on a sunday, snow, apple picking, apple pie and the list goes on!I don`t want to do all the talking, I want to listen to what you have to say, isn`t that how we learn about one another? If you are shy, I am probably not the girl for you! It would be nice to find someone to share my interests and I would be happy to share yours, even a Basketball game, fair is fair!!! .. just looking for a decent, kind hearted man, who is good to his family has morals, passions and character, a sense of humor and who likes to eat!! should be simple! Meet in a casual setting...for a beverage or coffee

Life is good! just looking for someone to have some fun with and see where it might go. I like to keep in shape, I exercise 5 days a week by teaching Tai Chi. And yes, I do enjoy NASCAR....football, hockey and I'm a car gal...love to go to muscle car shows.Of course I like all the girly things...shopping, facials, dancing....music of all kinds! Rock, country, Italian opera...foods of all kinds...Thai, Middle Eastern, barbeque..but sushi,not so much ;)I'm simple and complicated...always kind, compassionate and helpful but on occassion I can "get my Irish up"...I like a good spirited discussion with some passion.
