I am confident in who I am and I am looking for someone to share common interests, laughter and romance. Make me laugh and my heart will usually follow. Laughter is very important to me as I work hard and really enjoy someone I can be myself with and leave the worries of the day and the office at the office. I have a quick wit and enjoy someone that can share in those jokes that only we get. I am a southern girl at heart and a slight accent can be detected on occasion, but for the most part it has gone with the multiple places I have lived. However, before all you Eagles fans stop reading at this point, I do pull for the Eagles - just not when they are playing the Cowboys :-)I am financially secure and have full custody of my two sons who are the "lights of my life". My oldest son is in his second year of college and my youngest is a senior in high school. I am easily pleased with a random act of kindness and thoughtfulness and enjoy doing the same for someone special in my life. I need to feel like I am in a relationship that both individuals meet and compromise when needed....a true partnership. I am affectionate and need to have closeness. My life is very busy and I don't have time for games or drama, so the ideal person for me would easily distract me to the point I am calm and content. I take my health and exercise seriously. I work out a minimum of 6-days/week. I completed my second Broad Street Run last year. I finished before they opened the roads, didn't throw up and I wasn't last. Great! If all goes well, I am doing my first full triathlon in Atlantinc City in September. It's on the bucket list to do one so now or never, I guess. I am not a great swimmer, so need to keep working on that part of the race. I figured... :-) I finished it. Sloooooowly. Ha!I believe when you feel healthy; everything seems possible and easier in life. I generally eat a healthy diet but I have been known to indulge in a cheese steak, chickie and pete’’t forget…..great chocolate. Some other "firsts" Lucia. I went to a combo bootcamp/spa. I worked hard during the day, relax in late afternoon at the spa, and they have lots music and dancing at night.....perfect. Yes.....they do have such places as bootcamp/spas. I also just returned from my first trip to Europe. I went with my 17 year old son over his spring break and it was amazing. I am looking for someone that isn’t afraid to pursue something special with a person when there is a connection to see where it goes. If you are a serial dater or player, I am not the right person for you and you should pass me by. I am honest and I am very open about the way I think and feel and expect the same from a partner. I have met several people that turned out to not be exactly as they portrayed themselves to be. It that's you....please, spare my heart and pass me by. I am the kind of person that would love to have my last “first date”. I am just having trouble finding that feeling and believing it is possible. I have a sense of adventure and love going new places trying new things or just watching the sun go down in the backyard with a glass of wine. You can find me running the boardwalk in the morning, riding my bike and then hanging at the beach at noon. I love it. My pictures are recent and yes....I am 51. I am always looking for the best in people. Smiles say more than words can convey often. I always like to look for the best in everybody. People are great and fun to get to know. I enjoy the simple things in life and try to appreciate everything I see and do. I like to be there for whoever needs me and my time. I love to listen to everybody. There is always hope for not so good times. I hope that I have guided my children well. I have had people tell me that they are very polite and respectful towards them and others. I believe that this has come from me being their best cheerleader when they are down, and listening when they have their finet achievements yet. I have learned alot from my parents who have been married 51 years. They are the greatest teachers. I hope this will be past down to them also. I have worked in the medical field at the same lab for 23 years and I have a terrific job. I am a very lucky and fortunate person. I am extremely blessed to have excellent health. This is something that I am very grateful for and I definitely appreciate it every day. I believe that it is time for me to find someone special who would like to spend some great quality time together. I am always respectful of differences and likenesses. Lets see if we can add to these. Our first date would be superb if you and I could sit across from each other and talk the night away. A glass of wine would spark the conversation and let us be more at ease. Dinner would be both calm and exciting. After our meal, we would definitely have to take a walk to continue talking. We would then go out dancing to get to know each other better. We would lose track of time and never want the night to end. But as they say in the movies "All good things must come to an end". Thank goodness this is NOT the movies! Can't wait till our next date!!

Time to update. So, its easy to meet for a drink or glass of tea after work. :) I am glad to be home. I am outgoing, enjoy meeting new people and can talk to just about anyone. (Good thing since this is a requirement for my job. Thus, the "crafty" descrirption above. Not a word I would normally say about myself but the options are limited. I am looking for a relationship. I have been divorced almost four years and do want someone to come home to at the end of the day. If this is not your ultimate goal, I understand and am not opposed to having more friends to hang out with. I like to go dancing every once in a while, not into bar scene but do like to be held in a man's arms going around the dance floor. I like hanging out with friends having cookouts and playing dominoes, card, horeshoes, etc. I enjoy watching sports. I enjoy yard work, shopping (what woman doesn't), reading, all types of music, except rap.
