I am a native Floridian so I love the water and beaches. I believe all good relationships start with a foundation of friendship (but also with chemistry, of course), leading to a more romantic relationship.I have been sky diving, but need to go again; I am SCUBA certified, but it's been a while and I want to get back into it; I went to school in the SE and studied some out of the country, after hard work to get there; my parents are originally from NYC, with Irish, German, English, and Spanish roots;; I have worked with the military in the past; I enjoy traveling; and I have been around the US and other countries for work and vacations.I am looking for a STRONG person...someone who is secure with themselves.. and that comes in many forms;.. did you ever stop to think maybe your soul mate wasn't placed conveniently right down the street for you? This is very new to me. I am just looking to meet someone, become friends and then see what happens from there. I miss the beach but am glad to be home. I have not really met alot of people since I've been back. I love to cook. I also enjoy anything to do with water. Whether it's a day at the beach, lake or pool or even a nice bubble bath! I would like to find someone that shares similar interests and would definitely want to be friends first...After being on and off of here a while, I feel the need to update this a little. I was really skeptical of this site in the beginning. Being new to the area, it helped me meet alot of people. Some really great (that just ended up not being a match for one reason or another) and some not so great. In the beginning most of the men seemed to be younger that messaged me. Most of which were only interested in one thing. I blamed it on the age. Since then, I have come to realize, age has nothing to do with it! Most of the men that I've met or even just talked to are all the same, regardless of age. I guess my point to this update is to ask that if you message me, please just be honest about your intentions, whatever they may be...*UPDATE*Meeting new people has been alot fun. And I've actually made several good friends in the process. But I am ready for a serious long term relationship. I'm not expecting it to happen overnight and I do not want to rush in to anything. But that is ultimately what I am looking for, so if that is not your intention, we would just be wasting each other's time...

Hello fellas! Thanks for stopping by. I don't really like to go on and on about myself, but I think that's what is expected here, so here it goes:All photos are within the last few months. The one with my nephews was taken late September ***.I like football, travelling, I cook, clean (sometimes),I like kids, well behaved ones especially, love to throw parties and can make the best margarita you've ever had. I have a great career, an amazing 13 year old son, and life in general is pretty stinkin' good. I am a "few extra pounds," but I'm still ridiculously awesome. I'm not jaded, nor do I need pharmaceuticals (legal or illegal ones) to be normal. I have a lot of friends and am very close to my family, especially my Dad. I can sniff out a player and liar a mile away so bring your A game, lol. I'm an adventurous foodie, and I might let you slide on integrity if you like Indian cuisine....:)Once in a committed relationship, I'm very much into affection and MORE...I find that most guys on here don't make much of an effort to start and carry on a conversation, so if I don't respond, that's probably why. Like kids, be adventurous, don't be intimidated by my Dad and you and I will get along very well. Any number of things would work on a first date - as long as conversation and company aren't dull! It's always nice to have an activity to distract somewhat from the awkwardness of first meeting - an icebreaker if you will.
