Life is good, better than ever actually and it would be nice to share that with someone special. I believe that special is just something that "you know it when you see it". Along the way we meet wonderful people, and that's what it's all about.I'm lucky to have 2 amazing daughters that inspire me and bring me much joy, an incredible family, work I enjoy, and friends to share laughter and life with. I am sometimes adventurous and sometimes quiet. Me-time is important to me, but I'd like to focus more on the adventure side of me at this stage. I value respect, consideration and a good dose of fun in all relationships! My newest project is learning to play the piano. I have spent years paying for various music lessons for my daughters (every penny worth it) and thought it was pay back time!! Turns out they're awesome teachers........and it's exhiliariting to have music flow from your fingers! Get me a glass or 2, and I'll play for you (and then at least I'll have an excuse if I mess up!) LOLMy friends would describe me as kind and compassionate, fun and a little bit quirky, worldly and a glass-half -full kinda gal, a great listener and non-judgemental, and apparently I have a contagious laugh (but I could never remember a good joke to save my soul!). I love excuses to get gussied up, to put my best face forward, and to look sexy for the one I'm with, and it would be nice if he thought I was even sexy in my old RadioHead T-Shirt and boy jeans (am I dreaming???),I gravitate to positive, grounded people, usually creative in some way and reasonably outgoing. Intelligence, a great sense of humour, and knock-out smile are turn-ons! When one man becomes every man you ever dreamed of, even with all his flaws .....well, that would be a nice place to arrive to again. I'm not a believer in "the one", but I think it's quite fathomable to be happy with just one good person, and that that is a decision we make. There's something very compelling about someone who really knows you, and yes...who loves you. (Yikes, did I say that out loud!) Best to all in your searches! Whatever allows us to relax and get to know each other a bit. The who is more important than the what and where.

I am a loving woman. I was raised to have manners, to be considerate and to remain loyal in a relationship and thats how I live. I love the outdoors, grew up playing in the woods and still like it best out there away from people, building a fire, sleeping under the stars. I am all woman when it comes to day to day life, I take care of the people I love, my home and myself. Since being new to NC and the beach life Im into exploring new places and loving it here. When not out and about I do all the things that women like to do and men just probably would rather not but they love the results! Yes, I shop, get my hair done do my nails, Im a full grown Tomboy but dont look like one. My kids are out of the house now so I recently moved from NY to NC for some fun in the sun.I am tall, 5'8", attractive, (some extra pounds due to looong winters in upstate NY and a family tragedy) but working on that, go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week. Im fun loving and an easy going woman that enjoys life. Dont like confined spaces, love the outdoors, day trips, the mountains, ocean, riding bikes, kayaking, camping, any outdoor activity really. I enjoy being home, travel, spending time with friends and family, reading, watching movies, entertaining, close encounters, one on ones, large families and private times. Not into casual hook ups or married/attached men. Open to new experiences, I love to learn.Some of my favorite things in life: Family life, Christmas,sleeping in but not alone,campfires,the safety of a strong mans arms, being an American woman, working in the mental health field with children. What Im looking for in a man is this..tall, over 6 ft, decent looks is always a plus but whats more important to me is that you are honest, fun and dependable. I respect men that take care of their families, have a plan in life and know how to lead. Another plus is someone that loves the outdoors and by this I mean camping, hiking, bike riding, motorcycling, things of that nature. Working on the house, gardening, a project man is awesome! Of course we cant always get everything we would like to have but some of these qualities would be good. Depends of the connection we have established through *** the most part somewhere casual. Breakfast is good, you can always have a coffee and go if need be or stay and end up spending the day together. First real date after the initial meeting could be a wide variety of things depending on what we like to do. Im adventurous!
