Recently divorced and looking to infuse a little fun back into my life. You know how that goes...a couple of months being sad, a couple of months being angry, a couple of months hanging out with friends and then the decision to put it all behind you and get on with it. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and the trick is in what one emphasizes. We either make ourselves miserable, or we make ourselves happy. The amount of work is the same.So, what am I looking for? Someone fun to hang out with. Someone who wants to catch a live band on a Thursday night or bike the trail on a Saturday afternoon. I try to live a relatively healthy lifestyle and while I'm definitely not a gym rat, I did just start crossfit (after about 3 weeks of internal debate and 10 minutes of sitting in the parking lot talking myself into going inside) and I'm pretty excited about it! Maybe we could flip tires together. :) I should mention that I don't swim so I'm not much of a water baby. In other words, paddle boarding, diving, snorkeling in the Keys, while very Floridian, is not my thing. I might, however, be persuaded to sit on a lawn chair with a cold beer and watch you fish. How about coffee to start? Test the chemistry and see if there is mutual interest? If there is, great...we'll plan an adventure. If not, we both got to meet someone new and drink coffee...how can that be a bad thing?By the way, "wants to date but nothing serious" is not synonymous with "casual encounter". If that's what you're looking for, you won't find it here.

Geeze, how to start, I tend to be rather shy & private. I have been single 14 years, mostly due to fear of putting myself out there.I am a contented, good-hearted woman. I have a blessed life. Sorry, you may be a great guy, but I have an aversion to them. We women love eyes & smiles. So don't do that "tough guy" face either. It's the male equivalent to the female "fish face". We know you feel just as silly taking the pics as we do, but we're looking for someone to melt with, not cage fight, & it looks silly. Trust me! Anything that allows the time to get to know one another.
