I am inclined towards the intellectual, scientific, psychological, artistic and natural world. Am certified to teach Earth Science and worked as a high school science teacher. Also worked for the government for many years as a weather forecaster. Have been employed as a Site Supervisor, Rehabilitation Counselor and now Clinician/Psychotherapist for adults, children and families with behavioral, emotional and mental health issues. I am also studying towards a state license to be licensed towards same. Have also managed a consulting firm and published a news report on Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). I am looking for a partner who will contribute to enriching and enhancing who I am and allow me to do the same for her. I am nurturing and looking for mutual support and encouragement. Ultimately, I'm looking for a long-term or marriage relationship.On a first date I'd like to meet in a public location, probably an ethnic restaurant (how about Thai, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Middle Eastern, Italian or Greek?) for lunch or dinner. This would afford us the opportunity to spend some time in conversation and get to know one another. Talking about yourself feels kind of awkward. I'm self employed, and have been for quite some time. I love being outdoors, especially in the mountains. When hiking an area, I tend to get off trail and go places that look interesting. The Rocky Mountains are a favorite place in the Fall and Spring.One of the hobbies that I like to do is take a week off In the Spring and hunt shed antlers. The Elk and Deer lose them every year, and it's like an annual Easter Egg hunt with my uncle. People In my community respect me for my work and integrity. I still do hand shake deals, and have a pretty good idea if somebody isn't what they say. There are two types of people, talkers and doers, or leaders and followers. I tend to take the leader and doer type. Very unselfish, and always looking out for others. Very easy going, and enjoy the simple things in life. I'd watch two puppies play until thy tire out! Old fashioned values I still carry, My kids are grown, and It's time to see what the dating scene is like. Seems a little scary as I'm not the player type, and don't know how to be.
