First of all, it's a nose ring, not a bugger:)That being said:I am politically progressive and hopefully you are too. I’m a lefty, but I can’t stand extreme political correctness either. I don’t believe that people should be so hung up on words, or that there should be so many rules about we’re “ allowed to say”. Stereotypes exist for a reason and some of them (but certainly not all) have more truth than people are comfortable with. I’m a big fan of political satire, Salsa dancing (my new passion), and good film , esp. foreign and indie. I love music.) I'm not big of religion and definitely prefer secular humanists/atheists/agnostics etc. If you're a fairly religious person (esp. of the Judeo-Christian persuasion), there will not be a meeting of the minds. I prefer science based, critical thinkers. I'm also a big animal lover.I’m a pretty honest and direct person, sometimes even a little abrasive, but I’ll take that any day over passive-aggressive people. Just say what’s on your mind. What’s the worst thing that can happen? Someone may dislike you? You can’t please everybody.I'm 48 but I look considerably younger. When I'm in love I'm very nurturing and devoted and I appreciate open communication so if you're one of these guys who can't talk about something that needs to be talked about, please don't respond. You must have good communication skills and know how to broach the subject if something's on your mind, *** trying to send me signals in some roundabout way. I do not respond well to passive aggressive behavior. If you're terrified of confrontation, you're not the one for me. Communication is key.You should be ***, intelligent, romantic, nurturing, relationship oriented, and above all, honest. I'm really partial to tall, darker skinned men; brown more than black or white; Middle Eastern, mixed race, Indian, Latino, but so far, the cultural differences have proven to be challenging. I'm occasionally attracted to Black and White men, although it is rare these days. I seem to always end up with men younger than me although I do like men my own age as well. But let's be clear something; if you're in your 20s, you're too young. We will not be looking for the same things. And I am not in a position to breed nor am I looking for something short term. Dinner, conversation, a long walk in a pretty place. Hard to say, I guess it really depends on the company.

    We don't reach this age without life experience. Along with life experience comes baggage. Its how a person handles their "baggage" that will set them apart from the others.. The never ending questions: Did you learn from your mistakes? Did you grow from them and become a better person? I love guns and was learning to reload. Still want to learn more of that. I love working on my place. Its home and feels good to get out there and mow, cut wood, and fix fence etc. Anyone who has a house with property knows its a never ending chore. I love to laugh, tease, giggle and have fun. Love going to the movies, a nice restaurant on occasion and just having a good time. Fun doesn't require a ton of money. It does require a light heart, spontaneous attitude, and finding things to do that don't cost a fortune. However, I like to eat well, don't eat much of any fast food. I'm not a hard keeper or pricey kind of gal, more of a t-shirt and jeans person, but I do have that little black dress that has been itchen to be worn.I like cooking: I'm not great but its healthy, LOVE TO GARDEN, again not a master but it turned out pretty good this year.I'm looking for a man. A man who loves God and has values, integrity and morals. Kind, witty, gentle natured, out doors rugged type. A bit of a "man's man" but made for THIS woman. A man who takes care of himself, but is not conceded or arrogant. . A man who is a conservative. One who is honest. One who will communicate and share his thoughts and feelings both good and bad. And one who will make my heart jump when I see him.     Talking about yourself is not always the most comfortable thing to do in the world, but here goes. To me family comes first, all my kids are grown but now is where the grand kids come in, I do babysit, but I do make sure I have time for myself. I am pretty honest, direct and mostly to the point. I have a tendency to stick my foot in my mouth but I recover quickly. I really try hard to treat others the way I want to be treated.
