Basically, I would like someone in my life who wants to spend time together out having fun, has my back when I need him most, and is interested in learning what makes me . . . me. Someone with a great sense of humor would be absolutely fabulous. Life is no fun without laughter, and I like plenty of it. I have ***year-old daughter who is, by far, my greatest accomplishment; a very close relationship with my family; and wonderful and very loyal group of friends. I get along with my ex about 95% of the time, and I actually like his new wife. If that's not emotionally healthy, I really don't know what is.I'm educated, have a job downtown that I absolutely love (I should . . . I wrote the job description!), and workout regularly. Seems my Italian side refuses to let me starve myself in order to maintain my current dress size. However, I may have developed an incurable addiction to the Stairmaster. There are worse things, right?As for likes and dislikes regarding music, movies, food, books, hobbies, travel, and whatever else you want to toss in . . . Well, I think you just learn those things about someone along the way and see if they work for both of you. I don't think two people have to like the exact same things. In fact, I think it's far more interesting if they don't, so you can learn new things. As long as you have those important core values in common, I think the rest will just fall into place . . . if you let it. :)Best of luck. I prefer as low key as possible for a first meeting.     I sit outside almost every day and watch my neighbors work together in their yard . they are in their mid 70's and it is so amazing how in sync they are with every thing they do. Its like they know each others thoughts and movements before the other does. They move slowly sometimes it seems like they get nothing at all done.
