I\'m single by choice, but not lonely. I love music, books and adventures. I\'m more into a person\'s mental beauty that can actually hold up a good conversation in just about any aspect in life.

I am not very good at writing about myself so if this seems short it is only until i can think of something more. I am a very caring person. I put others before myself. I love my family and spend a decent amount of time with them. I havent been in a relationship for over 11 years so it will be, at best, akward for me in the beginning. I love to laugh and can do so at my own expense as well. I am shy at first but have no problem opening up to anyone who wants to listen. I am also a great listener and usually I am the person people come to for advice. I love children but have none of my own. Anything cute is my downfall and strange noises are usually emmitted by me when confronted with said cuteness. I love all types of music with some minor exceptions (some country songs are just too friggin depressing). When I go out I feel more comfortable in a more intimate setting than being surrounded by a large quantity of people. My favorite time of the year is Fall closely followed by Spring. I like the Winter if it would snow and the Summer only for the lenght of daylight.**I hate to have to put this in my profile but I have realized that doing so will make things easier for everyone in the long run... I do not have an attraction towards African American men. I'm sorry but I am just being upfront and honest and I don't want anyones time waisted writing me a lovely *** get a "sorry, I'm not interested" *****

Update: I am excited that I am losing weight. Working on losing more. Have started looking into target shooting and fishing.Hey everyone, I am a young fun intellectual woman who enjoys going to the movies, reading, laughing, watching basketball and football, and much more. I enjoy and love my job. I get great satisfaction in caring for others. I am a great listener, respectful, caring, loyal, laid back, generous, gentle, kind hearted, and honest. I laugh often, and have a smartass sense of humor. I have strong family values and desire a man who has this too. I enjoy being the best that I can be. I am interested in good food, music, traveling, living consciously, and enjoying/connecting with friends and family. I enjoy going to church every week. I am not into bars and clubs. I have strong christian values and ethics. I am shy at first, but once I get to know a person I really open up when we get to that comfort level.I enjoy learning and discovering new things. This could be art, music, cars, my faith, and even sports. My family and helping others is a big part of my life. I love a good conversation about philosophical ideas and looking at how what we think and do impacts our lives. I have a great sense of humor. I hope to share these and other interests with someone special...but I hope to learn as many new interests from that special person also.I am looking for someone who has the ability to communicate authentically and with humor, insight, patience, and intelligence. Along with this goes the ability to understand different views. Relating to the views of others and their opinions is key to developing an intimate relationship. Working to understand someone's views and feelings is important. It helps with both intimacy and resolving conflicts. Hmm...that sounds dry. So I'll say this: The combination of qualities I seek are hard to describe and rare, but they amaze me when I find them. Still, I try to keep an open mind. What can I say, I want a man who is my friend, lover, companion, etc. Duhh!!! I would love to hear from you. So, what are you waiting for? On a first date, I would enjoy going out for brunch. Afterwards, going for a walk and having some fun. Who knows really, some bbq chicken and Ruffles with a cold Dr. Pepper under the shade of a tree sounds really good right now.
