Hello. I grew p on LI then went to the US Naval Academy for college . Officer in Navy now a teacher. I am 45 and have gone through an amicable marriage in which I have given pretty much everything away. I am rebuilding. I have two kids who I try to see and speak to as often as I can. I play a mean game of golf and would describe myself as athletic. I'm a history guy. I am a really nice guy who doesn't mind not finishing first as long as I have not been a jerk or obnoxious.

I love the outdoors, atving, jetskiing, snowmobiling. I love to cook and I love to be adventurous and travel. I collect special and personal toys as a hobby. I plan to build my companies in the next few years to be great entities and plan to focus on retirement in ten years after that with someone special. Recently I thought I had found that someone special but it didn't work out and I want to change my way of looking. I carry my weight well but it now has to go because I quit smoking seven years ago and gained eighty pounds. So my current focus is at the YMCA every day working out. I'm educated in Computer Science and Quantum Physics primarily but I love to brazen the extremes of any field that stimulates me including but not solely limited to Nano-Molecular Electronics. Seriously.. What am I doing wrong? Is there a picture of me with a booger hanging out of my nose? I read all these profiles and most want a good guy, nice guy, one woman type of guy? Do y'all really want that?? Or does it look/sound better on a profile??Friends say I'm quiet until I get to know people, but once i'm comfortable, I can be a noticeable member of the party or an impressive companion at a work function.Admittedly, i have a dry sense of humor and I am told i can be blunt at times, but always honest. I mean no harm, but as we all know, blunt communication can be taken harshly. I'm a medically Retired Army veteran and because of that, climbing mountains and such aren't my strong suit.
