Hi Dont you wish we could just photocopy our souls and our intent? Our dreams and aspirations and have them all decorated accordingly ready to send here like a cake recipe for all interested parties to behold? Itd certainly be alot easier. I think its far harder for a pretty woman. She has to weed through a thousand pretentious liars, fakes, snakes, and players to hopefully find someone worthwhile. But at least you have options. I sit here collecting dust like an old out of print book on morals, principles, values and being a Gentleman. These arent lines being thrown at you. In fact im just writing this off the top of my head because i saw a woman of interest and wanted to say something real and different maybe. So ill probably see the unread deleted in my sent box later and be sad that i took the time to be genuine and write something normal. I dont know why people are so obsesssed with pictures, and finances. Sure you have to be attracted to someone. But that doesn't really come right away full throttle does it? Love starts out as a seed, and grows into a plant that eventually bears fruit. You cant rush it. It takes time, patience, and effort for someone to reveal their character and THAT is the most important part of the equation. Boys may not like you without your makeup or cute ripped fashion pants but MEN wont care if youre only wearing sweatpants. Hair in a bun, laying on the couch with your guard down.Why ? Because thats when you have your guard down and the real you shines through.Thats when all the nonsense doesnt matter and true colors are revealed. If you weren't feeling well one day and were laid out on the couch feeling blah id quietly cook you an amazing dinner and get you some aspirin. I wouldn't expect anything from it, make alot of noise, or expect you to do the dishes afterwards. Id do it to hopefully make you happy. Id get off my butt even after a long hard day at work and willfully remind you of the kind of man you chose. THAT is a small example of course of the love, honor, commitment and dedication it really takes to make a relationship work. Far too many focus on looks, great sex, wreckless spending and other things that are in reality small potatoes in the big picture. Love isnt shallow. It takes many essential and hard fought for ingredients accumulated over time to make the mix for a classic recipe. I have an advantage in that department. My parents have been together since ***. They fought like cats and dogs at times sure... But they never gave up on each other. And when the smoke cleared after all these years they proved their detractors wrong and stood the test of time. I know what it takes because i watched my Father lead by example and i learned that love doesn't always make sense but its an unseen armor or protective shield that is always there. The biggest thing i learned is NEVER EVER give up on the people you love.
