I have decided to try again on meetville after many long months of disappointing attempts at trying to meet woman. The main reason is that the woman just didn't commit to meeting in person. i would chat a few times and even met a few nice ladies..but few ever decided to meet in person, and when they did we had no chemistry. So i am back to try again! I am a single father, a student, a hard worker, intelligent, inquisitive,and at a good point in my life. I am finishing my education, getting in shape after several years of dormancy..(mainly because of school).., and my daughter is at an age where she doesn't need all my attention. Therefore, i can devote some time to meeting nice woman. I have a wide variety of interests that include martial arts, jogging, yoga, and bike riding. i am an avid reader and have a voracious appetite for books and knowledge in general.i do love music, concerts, and road trips. I do go to meet friends for an occasional drink at the bar, and at times even like to go dancing. Even though most of my time has been spent with the basics of daughter,work and,school....i do miss female companionship. My pics are not the best and im in the process of updating them...sooooo hold tight! My goals are to get a job in my field after graduation..(only a few semesters away)..I'd like to teach or work in a museum setting, or even library science. I probably will go to grad school after graduation...i am undecided. I love to write and hope to finish a novel i have started in junior college. I would describe myself as an intellectual....thoughtful..pragmatic...intuitive... and sensitive. Yes i can have a temper, be pissy at times, and even have drama...(whoooaa..look out!) ,but everyone does. For the most part, i am very motivated to staying on track. my goal is to meet woman who are serious about the process of dating. You have to talk...and then meet and go from there. The internet makes it a smorgasbord of choices and if even one small thing bothers a person..they go on to the next! Gimme a break! No one is perfect...no one is drama free***no one is without issues. Honesty is key and communication has become a lost art. i encourage anyone looking to date to find that again! After a few messages on-line..lets talk on the phone if there's chemistry and go from there. dating takes effort. I'd like to meet over coffee, or a beer and just have a casual conversation. I enjoy the Gothic/Industrial scene and enjoy dressing the part when going dancing, but I do not let that over run my life. I do enjoy going to movies, restaurants, and theaters. I am also a very out doors kind of person as well. I do like to spend time at home after work and relax either veg out reading a book, sitting in front of my computer or watching TV. I do enjoy going on road trips/traveling and enjoying the different cultures of those areas. I also enjoy keeping myself in shape as I hope you do as well. This does not mean I am an exercise nut but I do enjoy walking at times for more than a mile (note: interests). I plan to go back to school one day to finish my degree that I was working for which is Radiology while still working on my projects/hobbies (currently working on a generator for a wind turbine.). I also hope to one day own a franchise of hair salons (No I am not gay just I used to work as a cosmetologist/hairstylist for ***years.). I am a Libertarian and I have old fashion values and can tell you that chivalry is not dead. I come from a family that is still together that has never divorced or separated so I have a good understanding of family. I know that you have to be best friends not just boyfriend and girlfriend to make a relationship work especially that life long relationship called marriage. I myself have never been married but hope to one day and have that feeling of family between the person I am with. Enough about me I would like to hear about you.My current employment: Working as a Gambling Control Commission Banker / Technical Research Specialist / Computer and Network Technician. First date I would like to meet up for coffee and see if we hit it off. If we do then head out to dinner, then either a movie or a show.
