I haven't been on this or any other site for some time.. I thought I would give it a second chance. Forgive the pictures not being updated. I look the same, just a little grayer. My son is nearly 12 and remains a hockey nut. He plays travel hockey and that keeps me very busy.I love to do outdoor hobbies of most any sort, camping, fishing, I am also content with quiet evening at home, cooking a nice dinner and sitting back to watch a quality movie or TV program. Anything with water suites me well. Ocean, lake or pool. I am a huge hockey fan and my son is a travel hockey player.+ years in LA.I am self assured and self confindent, hopefully not arrogant. Comfortable with who I am and don't need to pretend to be something or someone I am not. I am financially and mentally stable.I thoroughly enjoy a trip to Vegas, but could care less if I stay at Sam's Town or "The Hotel" at Mandalay. I am not a snob and enjoy hanging with locals at the dive casinos or can put my feet up on the edge of the jacuzzi in the master suite and appreciate that "life is good".I love nearly all types of music except rap/hip hop, classic rock and country being at the top of the list,and thoroughly enjoy live concerts.I have my own business which keeps me busy but also gives me some flexibility to do the things I enjoy.Also important, I am the father of an wonderful boy nearly 12 that is an avid hockey player and must travel for many of his games.Please, say more than just "hi" or "hello" if you would like me to respond. Aren't we all having a great time on this adventure we call life? This next chapter is much more different than when we were kids. Now that we have careers, homes, established lives and the kids are grown we're not really willing to settle for anyone that can get us out of our parents house. Don't you agree? What's up with the do you have a car? Really? Is the bar set that low for us?The tie pic is kinda false advertising...really I have one I can put it on.....go on utube to learn how to tie it.......but I don't put a leash on my dog so why should I wear one? It's really not a fashion statement I like to encourage.I'm a pretty easy going guy. I try to take care of myself, excercise, eat healthy etc...always take the stairs over the elevator. I'm not really into watching sports, I'd rather get up and do something than sit around watching someone else be active.. I grew up in suburbia and now I live in the country...no neighbors, no kids, no drama. The palace is a great place to watch caveman TV (thats a bonfire get it?) and stargaze. I'm professionally employed and spend the week in the 40 hr deal. I like to listen to rock to bluegrass KSHE to KDHX the local bands are the best. I'm a rider not a biker hope you understand the difference. It's just me an the dog here and he's good company but the conversation is a bit one sided. I'm looking for that special someone with like desires, not willing to settle and looking to share life's experiences with.Wow i appreciate that you've gotten this far. I hope you realize that your experience is way different than mine on meetville. Im not married or attached in any way, to keep good karma you can't have overlap....you won't hear about the past unless you ask. I've been on my own since 03 and I know that it's better to be single than to settle.My image of getting old........sitting on the front porch in a rocking chair, in a bath robe yelling at the neighbor kids "get off my lawn"......but wait it's a funny image but I don't have neighbors,not really much into keeping a nice lawn and kids do bring a smile to my face....so it's really just sitting around on the porch in the bathrobe.......what's your image of getting old? A good first meet would be a simple bite to eat or drinks to discover what interests we share and see if we'd like to go to a date.
