Hi! I hate this part...but here it goes. I have been in the medical field for about 12 years and I am now going to school to become an RN. I have a beautiful 13 year old daughter who means the world to me. She keeps me young and we are pretty goofy at times...but life's too short not to have a few goofy moments! :-)I enjoy spending time with family/friends, movies, the beach, road trips, and Yoga. The person I'm with must be able to make me laugh, know that it's the little things that count and a non-smoker( it's a disgusting habit)!! I rarely go out to clubs anymore...unless my friends want to go for a special occasion. I firmly believe if two people are compatable, they can be happy doing most anything together. I'm a very caring and kind hearted person...this is a strength, not a weakness. Just be honest and have a great sense of humor and everything else will fall into place lol First dates should be somewhere public...lunch or coffee house, somewhere that the two of us can talk and see if there is any chemistry to move on to another date.

I prefer to date Asian men but am open to other ethnicities. I am friendly and outgoing. My friends say I'm one of the most upbeat people they know. Nevaeh is heaven spelled backwards. Lumiere is French for Light. I enjoy natural health and try to steer my clients into taking more control over their health. I have a degree in natural health. I am working hard to save money and have my own healing practice so I can see clients all day. I'm a former animal rescuer and currently have several cats. All were rescued. I like movies, especially action, comedy and sci fi. I like walking on the beach. I like going to flea markets and browsing. I like candles and candle light. I love traveling. I went to Japan in February ***. I would love to see other countries. I like anything to do with Asia.I'm looking for someone relatively NORMAL. I do not expect perfection...just no lazy bums, no psychos and no control -freaks!I do have one comment though. I keep seeing mens profiles stating they don't want any drama. What exactly is drama? Life? Human problems? I guess if you aren't having any drama whatsoever, you must be a buddhist monk! One gentleman who claimed to be living a peaceful drama free life actually had a boatload of drama with the ex wife and the kids shared custody issues. So do I have drama? I have no idea!!! Depends on your definition! What I like for a first date is lunch or dinner. It doesn't have to be fancy, just as long as we get to have good conversation in order to get to know each other better. I like to finish the meal with a cup of tea or coffee or a glass of wine just so we can talk some more. If the date is going well, I love to walk on the beach especially in the moonlight and watch the waves crashing on the shore.I'm flexible, so as long as we both agree to something, its fine.Let me say one more thing: I AM NOT LOOKING FOR A ONE NIGHT STAND or a hook-up!!!lLet me repeat that... because some guys either can't read or don't believe it, based on how many keep asking me to meet for sex. I'm not interested in a hookup, casual sex or one night stand! please *** you want me to respond. Clicking on the favorite button works only part of the time for me to get any info.

Hi there! thanks for taking the time to read this mindless dribble... If you make it to the end and still want to shoot the sh*t, hurrah you win a prize! Here's the deal with me:* I'm a smart ass. * I live for 2 things, my kids and laughing. I guarantee many of you might disagree, but I am.. and personally I think it works for me. I don't however (POF... bad) think I should have to list myself as 'BBW' on here - is there not a less stupid way to refer to me? anyway, yes.. pizza. beer. love them.I think I'm smarter than most people but I usually act like an idiot - that on it's own may mean I am not as smart as I think I am. I am very good at coming up with solutions for other people to implement but can hardly apply that to my own life. Basically, I should probably be a consultant or life coach. No, really. I don't take myself too seriously and I kind of think short people are inferior to tall people. I like wearing heels and being able to see over the tops of people's heads. I work A LOT and don't have much free time. I'm completely self sufficient but I like when other people do things for me. Like take out the trash (#1 reason I miss my husband!), open doors, grab that thing I need, let me have the remote control, you know.. that sort of stuff. I spend a lot of money on lip gloss and I have a cat that hates me. Actually the cat - he doesn't really hate me, but we are trying to work through some issues.. it's a process. Here's what my friends, family, and 'lovers' have said about me... (hold on, just enjoy the fact that I used the word 'lover'... ok, carry on):* I am hysterical (both funny and crazy)* I am smart (and a smart ass)* I am guarded, but giving* I am 'such a girl' (but HATE admitting that)* I am a workaholic (and probably an alcoholic)I am also in the middle of a very friendly divorce from my BFF, father of my kids, and overall good guy... it doesn't really complicate anything on my end.I work a lot, I have my kids on the weekends, and they are always my priority - ALWAYS!!Oh, one more thing - I really do have a thing for younger guys... (ok, I am) Part of me wants to fill this out and see if it really happens... But I won't make it difficult for you... let me give you some possibilities and you can do whatever you like with it!#1. Go get a beer and chat about what you did that day - I actually do like to sit and listen to people talk (I am probably judging them at the same time, but that's what the beer is for - to help you deal with that!)#2. Go see a movie. Um, this would be for the people who are uncomfortable with talking.. but I like movies and if you buy me popcorn, I will sit through just about any movie. **However, I prefer Scary, Funny, or just plain Freaky ones**#3. Please don't take me out to dinner - that's like too much time sitting there looking at each other... it's awkward. Maybe like date number 3.. #4. Go to a book store and wander the shelves of books - I think the discussion therein could help us really get to know each other... I have never done this, but honestly.. it's kind of a bad ass idea.#5. Take me on a trip... somewhere tropical. Oh yes.. I would do it... I have a passport and we shouldn't be afraid to use it... (ok, I probably wouldn't go on a trip on date #1, but this fits into that category of 'people doing things for me that I am capable of doing myself')I don't know.. what else do people do on first dates? It seems like it's all about getting the first date over so the second date can start. Right?
