A sense of humor, someone where the glass is always half full, where very little if anything is a real "crisis", no drama, someone who has direction and a true sense of self, someone who takes care of themselves, their belongings and their home. As for physical attributes... I'm 5'3" my partner hopefully will be no taller than 5'9", however, this is just a preference for me, not necessarily a rule. Preferably drinks somewhere quiet… that way we can talk and not YELL ;-) Also my preference is to go dutch for the first meeting, then there is no awkwardness. Please, please, please do not use the “let’s do it again”, “I’d like to get together again” etc unless that truly is your intent – I’m straightforward and I assume you are also. So when I’ve been told that, I truly have believed it, then been left wondering later what happened? ***, a simple, “I had a nice evening, please travel safely” – would suffice, you can always contact me later, if you change your mind. Also if you would like to move on to a second meeting “I had a great time, if you’d like to get together again, let me know” I find more comfortable than putting someone on the spot, and also gives a person time to think about how the first meeting went and what the future possibility might be… This dating thing is hard enough without the pressure and games that can sometimes go with it because people are afraid to be honest or don’t want to feel awkward or embarrassed.

Well what to say....I am looking for someone to add to my life, not define it. My free time is usually spent going to see live music/bands, or just relaxing with friends, I am into rock music and like to go out to see live music but lately i have been more of a homebody.I enjoy fleamarkets,car shows, when I have free time on the weekends (rarely). Like to escape when I can for the day or more, happy to just take a drive and get out of the everyday norm. my days off are tues and wed so i do most of my day trip stuff on those days.Looking to find the best friend (aren't we all) who you are just happy to be together, laugh with each other, enjoy mostly the same things & secure enough to let each other to go do the things that we do not have in common with friends. People tend to say I am shy, but not after I get to know the person. I am goal oriented, spontaneous, love to learn, always like a good horror movie, and family is the most important to me. For some reason I am the one that everyone seems to come to for advice, I guess that is because I am a great listener and know how to communicate. I am more of a girly girl then a tom boy but I don't mind getting my hands dirty when fun is involved. I can dress up for a night on the town or dress down for the backyard bonfire. I am hoping to meet someone that is intelligent and has common sense, strange how those two traits don't go hand in hand! He should be family oriented and be open to at least meeting the right person for a long term relationship. He should like children, should have an adventurous side, and be spontaneous. He should have a good understanding that any relationship requires work but it shouldn't feel like work in the beginning. He should know in a healthy relationship there is a You, Me, and Us. It all depends on the person, but typically I would meet for coffee and if we both felt we should have a "real" first date then we might plan something like dinner or something adventurous to do. We could always go to a museum or park.
