I imagine most people would suggest that family and friends are important to them, but I'll say it too because for me they really are a big part of my life. A few other things about me ... I'm thankful that I've been able to see a fair bit of the world, through work, study, and travel, and I hope to see much more of it - it's taught me plenty about not only the world but also I think about myself. I'm sincerely interested in social and environmental issues, and my career has crossed those paths quite a few times. I'm settling down in Calgary but traveling is and always will be a huge part of my life, especially to some out of the way places. I like to consider myself all these things: active, worldly, and down to earth. I admire people who have optimism, compassion, and think about integrity when faced with tough moments in life. Not sure what else to write, but hopefully that gives you a sense for who I am and what's important to me. Starbucks or a restuarant is a good start.
