I'm pretty easy-going overall, but I have no trouble telling it like it is. I love to laugh and to make others laugh, cuz laughter is the best medicine :) I'm convinced that if we all laughed more the world would be a happier place in general and we'd all have better abdominal muscles.Reading is my escape ... I will read any book I can get my hands on, and I re-read them - if, failing that, I will turn to movies (all genres) ... there is nothing better on a rainy or cold day than curling up and letting your mind go.I like clubbing, but I am just as happy to sit in a bar or pub or cafe and chill-out, chatting or listening to music.; the Machine, from the Beatles to 80's and 90's pop (although country is kind of at the very bottom of the list).I go to the gym or go jogging when I can; it's not my favorite activity, but it helps keeps me healthy. I enjoy yoga as a way to relax and keep fit, and taking long walks with no destination in mind.Fun fact: while on a recent trip in Vegas I shot an Uzi...Friends and family (and all the craziness I have experienced with them!!! Please see above comments regarding laughter) mean a lot to me. Wanna know more? Just ask ;) grabbing some coffee and/or taking a walk, anything that would allow us to chat :)

I sometimes am a walking contradiction. I am laid back, but can't sit still. I like being out and about, but one of my favorite places to be is hanging out in my house. I am very outgoing and people like me (for the most part), but I can be shy in situations. Sometimes I wonder if I have ADD. My goal is always to learn something new. I have some hobbies such as soapmaking, sewing, woodworking, which have added to other things I have tried such as beer making, quilting, home improvement, drawing, hiking, golfing, etc. Have I mentioned I have a hard time sitting still? I am very easy going and usually have a easy time just going with the flow. I try to be low drama and hate drama...I think life has enough drama built in that I don't understand why people add to that.I like to stay active and have gotten into running. I'm not very fast, but I do it and it clears my head! Lately I've been slacking and need to get back into it. Definitely enjoy mud runs more than straight up 5ks! On the weekends, I try to go kayaking and it would be nice to find someone who likes kayaking also! Things I like to do (in no particular order): reading, remodeling my house (I don't mind getting my hands dirty and love tearing things up and putting them back together), watching movies, lifting weights, yoga, rollerblading, watching live music, listening to music, traveling (which I haven't been able to do much of lately), playing with my dogs, hanging out with my family and friends, exploring, learning, laughing...you get the picture! I will try almost anything once!I guess you would say I'm entertaining. At work, everyone says that I keep everything fun and interesting. I try to not take myself or life too serious, but I can be serious when necessary. Life's too short to be miserable and stressed over every little thing. So I just try to enjoy the ride!
