Lets see now....I put dating down for what I am looking for...I feel that you have to start with dating before it can lead to something more. Also I am a very affectionate guy...meaning I like to hold hands, hug, and kiss. I show these feelings openly so looking for a woman who feels the same. If you feel uncomfortable with holding hands or a nice kiss in public ( not the kind that people yell out " Get a room")...lol.... than you are not for me. ( have been told I'm a good kisser...blush ).I love hockey, and CFL football. If there is a Canuck or Lions game on TV I'm sitting on the couch with a glass of wine or a cold beer watching it, having said that by no means am I saying I can't fit someone or something into game night ( but you better be cute for me to miss a game......LOL ). I do not watch basketball. Being open minded to me means that you try to understand where that person is comming from and respecting them for their ideas. I don't need to go out to have a good time, but I do enjoy it.I like cooking...am pretty good at that. I have a great mussle recipe. Yes I love seafood. I'm just me...a normal guy with dreams and aspirations. A while back I had a married female co-worker that became a good friend (platonic). She was pretty hot (i.e. beautiful) and pretty much became the center of attention in any room she entered. Anyway, she moved away to another city and a couple years later I heard from her via *** was going through a divorce. Now I'm not the greatest looking guy, and never thought I would hear from her again, so it was a huge surprise to me when she told me that the way I treated & respected her made her feel really comfortable, safe, & special and that she grew to realize that even after her 12 years of marriage and two kids with her husband that she did not get those same feelings from him. Wow! I had no idea what to say. This admission made me feel sad... I'm sure there must have been more to it all that caused her divorce... but at the same time I was kind of proud that I made that impression on her... it tells me that I am doing something right in the way I treat the people I care about. This is a true story... I'm not really sure why I mentioned it, I just think it says something about who I am which is what this section is all about in my profile.... so take it for what its worth to you.My hobbies are electronics, computers, home improvement projects, wood working, design. I've very handy around the house and am currently remodeling my master bathroom... a large project... grab a hammer and paint brush if you want to help. Goals are to be happy, be there for family and friends, continue to make a good living, learn something new everyday. I enjoy all types of music. I work as software/mechanical engineer. I have BSME & I have lived in Australia and in the USA. I am conservative in politics and traditional family values are important to me. I'm weak in that way. But I've been the recipient of both messages being *** I have received messages stating their disinterest.... both ways are just as disappointing and I get the message either way. I'm not sure what else to say here except that seems to be the way these heartless dating sites work... I really want to get out of here as soon as I can. Something easy.
