Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile :)I have a nice place in the country. A work in progress, but gradually getting it fixed up. I'm a healthy, happy, honest person and would want the same in a partner (especially the honest part). There are lots of wonderful things to see and do out there in the big world but it would sure be more enjoyable to have someone special to share the experiences with. I am a pretty easy-going person ... and looking for that certain someone for that certain 'click'. Enjoy cycling, swimming, walking.- usually up in the Okanagan. (Golf not on the list yet...but definitely on the 'learn-to-do' list!) Played soccer for years but reluctantly had to hang up the boots awhile ago. Love to be doing anything outdoors... and pretty much always game to try new adventures. I work Mon-Fri in healthcare and fortunately get a fair bit of vacation, so have been able to get away on some great trips the past while. Dinner parties, beers at the pub, romantic dinners, playing or watching (live) sports, exploring other countries, weekend jaunts, sippin' wine in the Okanagan, or doing whatever - it's what you make of it and the people you choose to spend time with. Love the sun and the snow. Basically, just looking for someone who enjoys the same. Friends and family are huge - hopefully with you too. Like to be with someone that has initiative to make plans and wants to try and do different things. Honesty, humour, and simply being a good person are pretty much the key factors in what's important to me. I click on profiles with photos ....and smiling photos are even better! Pics of you in the bathroom mirror holding up your cell phone ....ummm, not so good..... :- ? I also think a little effort in writing a profile is important. My boys are almost grown...well if there is such a thing! 3 boys 24, 20 & 19...the two youngest both graduated this past year...thank you God...I am done with school! lol Some parents talk about how sad they are that their kids have all graduated...ha...not me! I've had my kids ***since my divorce 14 years ago and trust me I love my kids with all my heart and would lay down my life for them but...it's Momma time! I never meet a stranger, i can talk to anyone! Communication is huge with me! I love having fun, I love to smile and laugh...life should be lived people...damn all this BS with meeting people and dating...it's not that hard I promise just be yourself...if it works it works if it don't it don't...it's simple...don't make it harder than it really is! Something I've learned...yes lessons can be learned...usually the hard way but learned all the same...the *** and forth is so 15 years ago...make contact...set a time to meet and do it...what have you got to lose...really! Then if you hit it off spend some time getting to know someone...this I have to get to know you before we meet...lol ah naw...trust me...commit to meeting...within 10 minutes of your time your gonna know if this person is even worth getting to know! Just do it! (Yep stole it from Nike!) lol Love a man with a personality and a great smile...but a great sense of humor mixed with a lil sarcasm...have mercy...watch out cuz I might just fall in luv with ya! Lol I'm a very strong willed woman...if I hadn't been i would have never made it through 14 years of being a single parent and dealing with a dead beat...baby daddy! I speak my mind but I will do it with a smile...I've been told I'm pretty and that I'm sexy...I like that but I'm also smart! The blonde comes from a box darlin...it's not natural! I love all kinds of music, except the hard core stuff...love to dance and yes I will admit I sing in the shower and dance in front of the mirror! Just a little hint guys...Men have taught me alot of things in my life...how to throw a football, shoot a gun, change a tire...but the one thing that most of the men in my life have taught, without even realizing they were doing it...is how to spot a Bullshitter a mile away...so if you are one you better be damn good...just sayin! One of those where you never want the night to end...there's nothing better than that feeling...if we have chemistry then grab me...set me in your lap and kiss me for hours type dates! I want to get to know you but not in one night darlin...there is such a thing as talking to much...trust me!
