My hobby is working on cars and fixing up old cars. I'm not really wanting to fix broken cars, but I will if I need to. I want to fix up cars. I went to school to become a mechanic, which I did for a while, but my career led me in another direction. I am in a related automotive field, but I no longer get dirty...at work anyway. I like golfing even though I suck, and I like to bowl once in a while. I like skiing and would consider myself a low-intermediate skier. I was on the X/C ski team in high school, but decided it is way more fun to let gravity do most of the work. Mostly I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, BBQ'ing, camping, going to the river/lake, or watching a movie. I have 2 awesome hound dogs that I love and they keep me pretty busy fixing chewed up stuff and throwing a slobbery ball around. We can figure that out once we learn more about each other, but I doubt it will be dinner and a movie.

Update : ***: I have found out that I have type 2 diabetes and am working on getting it under control. Lots of diet changes and learning about food. I was losing weight but was doing it wrong and the sugar in my body was out of control for years. I spent a couple days in the hospital and now am feeling tons better. Update : ***: I have lived in the area now for a bit over a year and really enjoying it. When I moved here I was about ***pounds and after some good food from my grandmother that I hadn't seen in over 10 years I ballooned back up to about 260. Last I checked about 3 weeks ago I was down to ***and working harder at losing a bit more. I stopped drinking soda and think I have lost a bit more because of that decision 12 days ago. I need to get new pictures because people have said I look a little different with the weight off. I hope to be going back to school soon and getting on with the next chapter of my life.
