So I finally found myself here and looking at the keyboard as if holds the key of how to write a good profile. I should have bought a better laptop as it seems my model doesn't have that function.I got a great job, not exactly a stable job but I love it so I consider myself very lucky. Had to work quite hard to get there so my social life played second fiddle and I am about to change that for good, it's all about balance some wise people told me.I love traveling,and like going away for short trips. Also like doing creative things. I like the company of friends but I am also able to entertain myself. What to say...I love my life, I live near the beach, run most evenings and spend a ridiculous amount of time reading and of course hanging out with my son. I spend my days working with children/youth and of course I have my own...so anyone I date would need to love kids and enjoy having them around. I love being active and I tend to focus mainly running and longboarding...I do wipe out once in a while so there are a few bruises and scrapes occasionally here and there. When I'm back home visiting friends and family I usually end up camping, hiking and hanging out on the boat or sitting by the lake (and yes sometimes burning random sh*t in the firepit). When I need to tune things out I usually draw or paint while listening to music...I have absolutely no taste in music...not saying that I like everything...I'm just open to listening to it once or twice. I am a huge nerd...love Star Wars and Star Trek-..again and am working towards establishing myself further in my career.I'm going to be blunt...don't message if you haven't done any post-secondary...I've worked my ass off and gone to both college and university...anyone I end up in a relationship with needs to be on par...or totally kick my ass educationally :) I'm pretty relaxed about first dates...I like being surprised by something original (dinner and a movie are great- I'm not putting down the traditional date) but I have had some fun first dates that were random and unexpected. I've been to a few street festivals and even to the zoo where we had the opportunity to talk, explore and to check out something new.I'm pretty shy at first...and if I'm quiet, its only because I worry I'll say something totally ridiculous before you get to know me well...I"m definitely not sitting there judging you...its just me being nervous :)
