Ah, the dreaded personal description...well, I like stuff..nonsense...and even tomfoolery. I'm quick with silliness, but can be serious just as easily when called for. I have nerdy tendencies and absolutely adore terrible science jokes (well, terrible jokes in general). My humor may appear sarcastic at times, but always is good-natured, because it's about making people laugh & having a good time. No matter the situation, I try to put people at ease, even if I am not the most comfortable. You may say I'm an extroverted introvert. I'm approachable, genuine, & (above all) caring. I also have strong ties to my family. I seek the same traits in a guy, but also someone who can verbally pique my interest & joust me. There's just something sexy about an articulate man. Randomness is also highly encouraged, along with culture & the proverbial "thirst for knowledge". It might sound cliche, but I love helping people and volunteered as an EMT for a number of years before becoming a Paramedic. As it is my passion, I definitely find it rewarding, interesting, & frustrating all at the same time. I don't think I'd have it any other way. Without the feelings of frustration, there is only complacency coupled with cynicism, and I refuse to go down that road. I would ultimately like to get my MD/DO in Emergency Medicine and complete my dream, but for now, I'm happy with my career. I sing as much as I can, whether it's with my choral society or just in the shower! I love to learn & find myself reading books on varied topics, trying to absorb as much as I can. I LOVE retro video games, but will play some new stuff as well (Huge fan of Mario & LoZ). I find it's a great way to de-stress from work :)Fun Facts:-Addicted to spicy tuna sushi-Favorite book genre: Medical Thriller-Has a HUGE crush on Adam Sandler-Is deathly afraid of spiders...we're talking shrieked-in-the-ER-while-giving-a-report bad-; knows it's going to be a good day when Phil comes on the radio-Secretly wants to be an opera singer -Would love to own a ***'s Donkey Kong or Pac-Man cabinet more so than a diamond ring (though jewelry is nice!)-Wishes to travel more...especially now that I've gotten rid of my "flying apprehension"...for the most partBasically, I'm the type of person who may talk about science/medicine one minute and quote Family Guy or Monty Python the next. I'm the respectful girl you could take home to meet mom, who'd love to help with dinner. I'm also the girl who can laugh at friends' wildly inappropriate jokes (making some of my own in the process), hold a scared patient's hand giving words of comfort, or kiss you softly after I beat you unmercifully in Street Fighter II. Hey, so here goes:i should test you to see if you actually read this...hmmm, maybe i will :)Im awesome :) im 31 years old, im a mom first to the all time coolest kid ever. im proud of her and who she has made me today, so if she will be "in your way" go ahead and move it along :) id hate to waste anyones time.im told that im funny, i love to laugh. the lake, and the pool :) i love camping, hiking, anything outdoors. goin out with friends, having a few drinks. i sing every chance i get. thats where my heart is :) music makes me feel things...im honest and loyal, i hate liars and cheaters, although im sure everyone says that, but ive been the one that was on the recieving end, i have more respect than that.
