Oh yeah, a minimum of ***characters to tell you about myself. So, yeah what do I say... haven't had a girlfriend in quite some time and haven't really wanted to. All the things that I enjoy in life are becoming dull with no one to share them with. I crave someone to hang out with, to talk to--to be with someone that shares my interests and seeks to spend time together. I'm Looking for an easy going person that understands what it means to be balanced; stable but adventurous, knows what they want but not afraid to try some new things, has priorities but knows when and how to have fun, neat and clean but not a freak about it, easy going, you get the picture. I love being outdoors. I can't stand sitting in the house when the sun is shining. I would much rather be outside, working in the yard or garden, building stuff, floating the river, playing in the sun, taking a ride on my motorcycle, or whatever. But I love winter too, snowboarding, sitting around a fire pit with a good beer and good company watching the snow fall. Rain sucks, and I would much rather watch a movie, read a book or play a game.I am a software engineer by day, but I would rather play farmer or work with my hands if I could make a living at it. I also am a musician so listening to and playing music are really important to me. You must be willing to put up with loud music on occasion and going to see a band or concert now and then. This also usually involves some (or a lot of) social drinking--but I can't stand drunks or getting drunk. My tastes in music are all over the map but I am currently into alt/indie and some progressive stuff, bands that most people have never heard of. I really enjoy music that is musically interesting, emotive, or even euphoric... I enjoy reading and learning and would prefer someone that also enjoys the same or can hold an intelligent conversation with me. Sometimes it will be serious political or religious discussions, or it could be nerdy/geeky talk, but mostly just normal, fun conversation and laughs. You must be able to laugh, with me, at me, and at yourself too.I am ready to move on and start enjoy life again. I have become pretty used to being alone so it may take me a while to be fully compatible again. But I have confidence that with the right person, all these things will fall in place over time.I am a little heavy around the middle from sitting at work all day, but 6 foot tall and proportionate. I prefer petite women for some reason but I wouldn't mind if you were a little curvy or only slightly smaller than me in at least one direction anyway. Certainly physical attraction is something that we all need, but a beautiful personality goes much further with me than the perfect body. Something casual and easy going. Coffee or a drink someplace with people about and a festive mood, but not so loud that we can't talk and get to know each other.
